Titrimetry - one of the oldest analytical methods - has lost none of its relevance despite the introduction of many analytical methods. This is due not only to the unique advantages offered by the titration method but also to the advanced development in instrumental titrimetry.
The Metrohm titrator family Titrando offers state-of-the-art technology for modern laboratories. It is entirely oriented towards quality control of management in the laboratory and offers control of the rights of access and complete traceability up to the 'calibration history' of the sensors. SteamLine electrodes are low-maintenance pH process electrodes for a wide temperature range from 0 to 135 °C and a pH application range from 0 to 14 pH.
The reference electrode uses a gel electrolyte. A special feature of these electrodes is the even, minimal flow of electrolyte: constant pressure is exerted on the electrolyte by a pressure mechanism that is integrated into the reference electrode. This ensures reliable and reproducible measurement results, and poisoning of the reference system can be avoided. That is why the useful life of SteamLine electrodes is substantially longer in comparison with non-pressurized, low maintenance electrodes.
We manufacture SteamLine electrodes out of the highly alkali-resistant S Glass developed for the most extreme conditions. As a result, the electrodes can not only be utilized for SIP applications (Sterilization In Place, temperature of up to 135 °C), but also for CIP cleaning applications (Clean In Place), in which hot, concentrated sodium hydroxide solution is utilized. Electrodes that were designed for this type of extreme cleaning processes can also demonstrate their strengths under other extreme application conditions.

The total TDS is a mass estimate and is dependent on the mix of chemical species as well as the concentration while conductivity is only dependent on the concentration of chemical species. Some applications require the measurement of Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) in mg/L, parts per million (ppm) or parts per thousand (ppt). The TDS concentration can be obtained by multiplying the conductivity
value with a factor which is empirically determined. Eutech offers meters that allow the direct reading
of TDS values. These include the TDSTestr™ series, EcoScan TDS 6, CyberScan Standard Portables
CON 11, CON 110 and Waterproof Portable CON 410. Bench meters for advanced level laboratory research are the CyberScan CON 510, CON 1500 and colour touchscreen research-grade CON 6000.

The TitroLine easy is the ideal titrator for your routine daily work. This instrument provides you with the perfect combination of a piston burette, a pH/mV meter and integrated intelligence.
Ten titration methods for various applications are pre-installed and can be called up easily as required. The methods are pre-parameterised. You only need to select your titration procedure: with a self-searching end point, with a pre-set end point, or manual titration with the ›mouse‹. The titration process begins as soon as you press the start button. This saves you time and money.

The newest member to Hanna instruments Combo series of combination waterproof testers with advanced functions is HI 98121, designed for simultaneous pH and ORP measurements.
HI 98121 also reads temperature, which is continuously displayed on the dual level LCD.
An encapsulated external stainless steel sensor, positioned in close proximity to the pH electrode provides fast response. A fiber junction can be easily pulled out and replenished. And when finally spent, the pH electrode cartridge can be quickly replaced with the supplied electrode removal tool, reducing waste and cost.
HI 98121 works with common batteries and when turned on, displays the percentage of remaining battery life. The stability indicator ensures reliable readings.
Ergonomically designed for ease in handling, this meter will float if inadvertently dropped into water.
