SI Analytics introduces the new laboratory measuring instruments SCHOTT® Instruments ProLab 3000 (2-channel pH and ISE measuring) and SCHOTT® Instruments ProLab 4000 (additional Conductivity measuring). The adaptable display comprising the Windows menu structure and the mouse handling are the outstanding convenient features.
Operate the new ProLabs like a PC: You have a 300 MHz processor and a storage volume of 32 MB flash and 32 MB RAM. On a brilliant QVGA colour graphic display (320 x 240 pixels) the operation is handled via a Windows comparable menu structure. The display of all measuring values can be configured in the same manner as on a PC. Operate by using the numeric key pad on either of the ProLabs or using an external keyboard or optionally use the mouse, which is part of the scope of delivery.
Mouse and keyboard can be operated at the same time. Also memory stick, USB hard disks, printer and barcode readers can be connected without any additional configuration. Besides the USB host both instruments also feature a USB slave and a RS232 interface.
The automatic electrode and user recognition known with former Lab- and ProLab instruments is also installed in the ProLab 3000 and ProLab 4000. The same is true for the extensive calibration support features, e.g. the CalClock (parallel display of sensor evaluation and calibration intervals) or the choice of 22 pre-set buffers. The calibration is now improved by the VariCal, enabling the usage of further buffers.

With new technology
The LDO oxygen probe and the pHD sc pH probe stand for superior technology. The LDO-Sensor determines the dissolved oxygen with an optical method, no more replacing of electrolyte or calibration. No electrode poisoning can occur because of the closed pHD sensor design. Less work and a longer service life in combination with gerater reliabilty translate into lower operating costs and appreciably more process dependabilty.
Wide range of applications
HACH LANGE probes can be installed in tanks, pipes or in bypasses - suitable mounting devices are available for every application.
By the application-specific design the probes can be exposed to aggressive fluids or high pressures.
The electrodes are kept separate from the sensitive digital electronics in an enclosure made of resistant plastic.

The Neutronics Model HI-3000 Halon Identifier analyzes liquid samples of Halon 1301 taken from storage cylinders. The instrument displays the percentage purity of the Halon 1301 and identifies and displays percentages of the most likely contaminants: Halon 1211, R12, R22, and R134a. By correctly identifying the contents of Halon 1301 storage cylinders, contamination of expensive Halon 1301 can be eliminated.
Easy to Use
Model HI-3000 has five modes of operation: WARM UP, READY, SAMPLE, IDENTIFICATION, and PURGE. A series of LED lights guides the user through a simple operating procedure.
During the WARM UP mode, the system is purged with air and is auto calibrated. When the unit displays READY, the identifier is prepared for the test.
In the SAMPLE mode, a sample is drawn from the cylinder. The next step, IDENTIFICATION, analyzes the gas and displays the results. During the IDENTIFICATION mode, a printer can be attached to provide hard copy printout for records keeping and cylinder certification.
In the final PURGE mode, the HI-3000 automatically calibrates itself and returns to the READY mode.

JUMO ecoLine / JUMO BlackLine pH and redox combination electrodes versions with glass or plastic shaft (20.1005)
Electrodes in the JUMO ecoLine und JUMO BlackLine series are high-quality measuring sensors with an optimum price/performance ratio.
Active pH element: JUMO ecoLine electrodes have been manufactured using the JUMO U glass that has proved itself for many years. JUMO BlackLine electrodes are equipped with the lowresistance JUMO UW glass. This guarantees fast and safe measurement results.
Active redox element: A robust platinum tip ensures reliable measurements and allows simple cleaning of the sensor.
Reference system: The acrylamide-free JUMO gel is used for the glass version and the PEI plastic version. This highly viscous KCI solution lends itself ideally to measurements in general acqueous media. For measurements in media containing few ions, or with high flow rates, the electrolyte can be equipped with an optional "salt reservoir" for a longer operational life.
The JUMO BlackLine model employs a polymerized KCl solid electrolyte. The JUMO cartridge-type conduction system - tried and tested for many years - is used as the reference system. So the electrolyte remains free from silver ions and therefore less susceptible to electrode poisons. In the glass shaft version, JUMO ecoLine electrodes feature a ceramic diaphragm. The model with plastic shaft in transparent PEI comes with a glassfiber diaphragm. A push-on proctection basket protects the sensor when used with handheld measuring equipment. The JUMO BlackLine has an open annular-gap diaphragm, the shaft is made from black PPO and features an integral protection basket....

SCHOTT® Instruments IoLine – pH electrodes for the most demanding measuring tasks
The new IoLine electrode family with iodine/iodide reference system from SCHOTT® Instruments has been developed to meet the most demanding laboratory measurement tasks. These electrodes are 100% metal ion free and hence ideally suited for measurements that are critical towards sample contamination by such ions (e.g. silver ions) and for pH measurements in Tris buffers too.
Advantages of IoLine Electrodes over classical Ag/AgCl reference systems are notably by:
• A longer service life thanks to a patented three-chambers Iod reservoir in the reference electrode.
• Fast reaction, precise measurement and clearly improved stability of measurement values, especially with changing temperatures or at temperatures other than the calibration temperature. This is due to the lower temperature sensitivity of the iodine/iodide reference potential.
• Free choice of the bridge electrolyte, hence optimum adaptation to the sample by double electrolyte system.
The electrodes are available in different membrane glass shapes and types and with different plugs to ensure that the user gets the instrument best suited to his needs. ID versions are available for use with SI Analytics’ s ProLab line of high-end laboratory meters.
IoLine electrodes are the right choice for the most critical pH measurements in research and quality control in pharmacy, biotechnology or food industry.

Monitoring of pH and redox (ORP) is important in many different industrial processes to reduce cost and optimize yield. The requirements of various industry processes are different. For example, in chemical processes sensors must withstand acids or caustic solutions at high temperatures. The electrodes may also require be certification for use in hazardous areas.
In pharmaceutical and food processes measuring systems have to meet hygienic design, and must withstand many sterilization cycles and provide traceability for validation purposes. pH measurement in high purity waters requires special precautions. The high purity pH assembly uses a shielded flow chamber and a permanent outflow of reference electrolyte for stable measurement.
Our high quality products meet specific needs in conformity with ATEX, FM, EHEDG plus meeting accuracy and ruggedness.
