The eP Digital Controller is a closed loop servo controllerfor tension and compression testing machines. It is a pre-settable unit that simplifies materials and product testing and requires a minimum amount of training. The eP features load and crosshead position inputs plus enhanced closed-loop servo capabilities for accurate and repeatable testing. It eP provides one pre test and two test control seg-ments. The eP is an inexpensive and easier-to-use alternative to PC/Windows based materials testing systems. It can store six test methods in memory so that the operator can per-form a variety of tests quickly and error free.

The new Digital Indication and Control Instrument VarioFox from AFRISO is a compact, ready-to-connect universal measurement and control instrument with integrated sensor supply and 2 (also choice of 4) voltage-free switching outputs. The instrument is very easy to operate and to program due to its text-orientated menu guidance (German, English or French).
VarioFox features a measurement unit listing, where units can be freely edited, as well as a free scaling/calibration of start and end of scale display values (99.999 - 9,999) which allows for almost all possibly required parameter settings. For horizontal cylindrical and spherical tanks integrated calibration charts can be accessed. For non-linear vessels or specially fabricated tanks a customer- specific 24-point linearization is available. The highest and lowest operational values are memorized but can also be utilized as instrument-internal visual and audible alarms on request. An alarm mute/accept button on the front of the instrument requires the responsible operator to act and this in itself provides for additional operational safety.
The measuring instrument works off an AC 50-253 V or DC 20-253 V supply and integrates a sensor input (4-20 mA, 0-20 mA, 0-10 V) and two isolated separate analogue outputs (0/4-20 mA und 0-10 mA).

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
This is a microcontroller based manual loader – designed to generate stable and accurate 4-20mA dc current signal, which can be fed to the 4-20mA operated load or actuator such as motorized valve, I/P converter etc… Unlike simple current source meter, the source output 4-20mA is also taken internally as the input feedback to ensure the external loop continuity of the signal which is being fed to the load. In case, the external 4-20mA loop is open, the fault message is indicated on the display, which ensures that the signal is actually being fed or not fed to the load. The 4-20mA signal is of 12 bit resolution, and is fed to the external device in the range of 0.0 to 100.0 %. The smallest change in the output is 0.01% or 16uA. Both the set value and the feedback values are simultaneously displayed on the 4 digit red LED display. The serial communication in the form of RS485, having MODBUS RTU protocol is also provided for SCADA or DCS. The protocol, allows configuration of digital ID of each such DCS-723/DCS-966 and monitoring of source and set parameters. DCS-723/DCS-966 works on 230VAC and is protected against industrial RFI/EMI interference by suitable filter.

These are indigenously designed and developed using the latest microcontroller chip and programmed with the time tested and field proven PID algorithm. MAC Amplifier-Controller-Combination
As a compact cost effective unit, the MAC is designed to provide a closed loop control functions for strain gauge transducers (e. g. web tension measurement).
The MAC is optimized for use in electrical cabinets. There it can be DIN rail mounted or directly to a mounting plate.
The enclosure of the MAC contains an amplifier and controller.
The amplifier supplies the auxiliary power to the strain gauge transducers and conditions the output signals. Two voltage outputs with different filters are available.
The independent function of the current output can be connected either to the high or low dampened voltage output. The external use of as 10 Volts / 20 mA signal converter is also possible.
The PID components of the controller can be individually adjusted and also partially switched off. Additional adder and multiplier circuits enable the processing of other signals, e. g. diameter signal.
24 volts control signals can shut off the controller portion or gradually activate or deactivate the output signal.
