| fe-safe, developed by Safe Technology Ltd., is a powerful and easy-to-use fatigue postprocessor for Abaqus. fe-safe uses proven techniques to accurately determine the fatigue life of metal components under complex cyclic loading. fe-safe combines finite element analysis results for multiple loading conditions from Abaqus/Standard with the cyclic load history to predict the life of the component. |
|
| Designing for Optimal Durability Performance - Undoubtedly the most challenging task for durability engineers is designing components and systems that are fail-safe - but not over-designed. System parts with insufficient fatigue strength may cause permanent damage and potentially life-threatening situations. In addition, product recalls influence market perceptions negatively. |
|
As a key component in your Virtual Product Development (VPD) process, MSC.Fatigue enables you to quickly and accurately predict how long your products will last under any combinations of time-dependent or frequency-dependent loading conditions, and to optimize your products for weight and shape.
The MSC.Fatigue family offers an integrated suite of products that grow with your needs:
Core products, such as Basic, Pre & Post, Stress gauge, and Utilities, provide basic functionality for building, testing, reviewing, and improving your products from a durability standpoint.
Add-on products, such as Fracture, Multiaxial, and Vibration, extend the capabilities of the Core products.
Industry-specific products, such as Weld and Professional wheels, offer fatigue calculations tailored to particular industries or applications.

SIMAGIS® Features and Benefits
SIMAGIS® Platform employs concept of spreadsheet application to improve research productivity and offer a variety of ready-to-use solutions for specific scientific and industrial research problems.
SIMAGIS® provides two unique fundamental advantages that set this product apart from others and put it in a class of its own.
Application Spreadsheet
Each step of the analysis process is captured in the cell which, much like conventional spreadsheet, contains input data, processing functions and results of the operation.
Each cell may reference result from other cells for input data and create dynamic sequences. This way the analysis is presented as visual sequence or processing steps with visible interim results with easily adjustable functional parameters for each step.
This unique feature advances iterative process of selecting the best image processing parameters and significantly improves research productivity.
Another important benefit is that such visual professional control of interim results simplifies parameter customization for different sets of imaging data.
Executable Applications
Once analysis steps are captured, an Application Spreadsheet of any complexity can be saved and executed again with the ability to adjust parameters for every step.
This means that the executable module is created as a natural result of the research process without the need for coding, the knowledge of macro language and additional time. Changing data in one cell will result in recalculation of the analysis sequence, so saved Application Spreadsheets create a library of customizable solutions. Application Spreadsheets can be executed automatically with different sets of imaging data by anyone with or without research expertise.
This unique feature allows for documenting research work as well as retaining and sharing knowledge across the organization.
Other Features
The SIMAGIS® product includes many advanced features that match, and in many professional cases, exceed the functionality of leading image analysis software products on the market.
Our Functional Library contains almost 200 functions for professional image analysis, including objects and professional structures development, arithmetic operations, measuring (global parameters, particles parameters, special measurements), morphological operations, particle professional filters, statistical analysis and many others.

Model-Based Design
Designers of embedded control system software face difficult challenges. In addition to the need to complete projects at low cost and within tight schedules, embedded control system software designers must provide predictable performance and competitive features for the products they deliver. Traditional methods of designing, testing, and implementing embedded control systems cause designers to wait until late in the design effort, when actual or prototype products and real-time embedded targets become available, to find out if software really works as it was intended to. Only then, as system integration occurs, can the designer uncover the errors that may have found their way into the product during the early design stages.

Adams is a family of interactive motion manufacturer of simulation software. A core package (Adams/View, Adams/Solver, and Adams/PostProcessor) allows you to import geometry from most major CAD systems or to build a solid model of the mechanical system from scratch. A full library of joints and constraints is available for creating articulated mechanisms. Once the virtual prototype is complete, Adams checks the model and then runs simultaneous equations for kinematic, static, quasi-static, and dynamic simulations. Results are viewable as graph, data plots, reports, or colorful animations that you easily can share with others. You can use the results (loads created from different types of motion) of Adams simulation studies to provide loads for many different FEA programs including Nastran to optimize the structure of a design.
You can start with the Adams basic package and from there choose from a wide range of extension modules, including Adams/Control to analyze control systems, such as hydraulics, electronics, pneumatics, and more; Adams/Flex to examine the impact of flexible parts; Adams/Linear to calculate natural frequencies and mode shapes of large systems. Adams also offers a range of modules tailored specifically the automotive, aerospace, and rail industries. These modules include templates for building simulation design. Several CAD interface modules allow you to explore the motion of CAD designs without having to leave a familiar CAD interface or transfer data into Adams.
