Plastic fiber optic cabel with outside diameters of 1 mm and 2.2 mm can be connected to this sensor. The easy to use Teach-In function allows for fine sensor adjustment, so that even transparent objects can be reliably recognized in barrier mode operation. Scanning width is automatically adapted to each individual application via external Teach-In. The devices can be easily mounted to standard DIN rails.

The Photoelectric Amplifier series consists of a wide selection of single channel photoelectric amplifers which are to be used in conjunction with Telco's line of remote photoelectric sensors, that may be used in thru beam or diffuse proximity. A selection of the amplifiers provide high penetration power which are suitable for applications with contaminated environments. The series can achieve sensing ranges of over 70 m in thru beam and 5 m in diffuse proximity. All the photoelectric amplifiers are housed in enclosures with an 11-pole DIN socket connection.
Supply voltage can be selected between AC and/or DC, and the output can be selected between a transistor and/or relay output. The series offers a choice betweem automatic and/or manual sensitivity adjustment, with or without on/off time delay adjustment via integral potentiometers located on the front panels of the amplifiers. Light or dark function, and long and short range is switch selectable. A selection of the models offers sensor LED drives which powers optional monitor LEDs (power-on and output) available on the remote sensors.

The CMYX combines small spot size and fast response to achieve high-speed mark detection capable of detecting standard one-track PHARMA-CODE (0.5mm thin bar width) at 2000ft/min. The CMYX is perfect for printing or packaging applications that require the ability to differentiate between background and color marks during high-speed operation. The CMYX provides the accuracy and precision for reliable process control.
High color contrast sensitivity and resolution.
High detection speed, 25-microsecond discrete output response.
Broad-spectrum white LED light source allows detection of all colors.
Calibration feature allows manual user sensitivity adjustment.
Remote teach input allows for automatic adjustment to background.
Unique numerical display indicates measured levels making process setup easy.
Circular spot allows for any orientation of sensor to marks.

Newly developed type PCI-2TE-13 photodetector designed and optimised for FTIR applications. This new detector has a wide, 1- 13 µm, spectral bandwidth and broad linear output range. Detector's responsivity is stabilized with built-in two-stage Peltier cooler, keeping the sensitive element at temperature 220- 240 K. Performance of the devices has been improved with heterostructure design, optical resonance and hyperhemispherical immersion. Constant voltage bias and current readout should be used for the best performance and linearity. The spectral characteristics of the detector can be modified according to specific requirements. Standard detectors are available in modified TO- 8 packages with BaF2 windows. Other packages, windows and connectors are available upon request.

Line through-beam sensors are applied where precise positioning is required or where the dimensions of an object have to be determined with high accuracy (e.g. diameter of a wire). The L-LAS-TB sensors (available in split shape or fork shape) offer various operating widths with a resolution of up to 1024 pixel (4098 subpixel).
An analog output (voltage output or current output) informs about position and size of the object. Furthermore, a digital output is available that offers information about quality and position of the object.
The laser through-beam sensor can be easily parameterised with the Windows® user interface L-LAS-TB-Scope.

Ambient Light Sensor
The AMIS-74980x is a wide dynamic range light sensor with an analog or digital output. There are several versions of the analog output; one with 1uA current output at 1000lux all the way to 1mA at 1000lux. The digital output version has a built-in 16-bit ADC with a 2-wire SMBus or I²C digital interface. The sensor employs AMI Semiconductor's proprietary CMOS image sensing technology which provides low noise and high dynamic range output signals and a light response similar to the response of the human eye.
