These new Contrinex sensors are characterized by their remarkably small size, Ø 4 mm smooth or M5, with a housing length of 35 mm. Protruding by 1.8 mm, the spherical sapphire lens projects a cylindrical light beam with a diameter < 4 mm, permitting recessed mounting. Despite their small size, they are fully self-contained, thus making an additional evaluation device superfluous. As a result, the sensors are less costly and easier to install than optical fibers with amplifiers. In addition, they replace larger switches where mounting space is limited. The devices are short-circuit proof and operate in a voltage range of 10 ... 30 VDC, and with an output current of up to 100 mA. They are moreover fully vacuum potted and, as a result, largely insensitive to environmental influences (degree of protection Ip 67).

MPA – MULTIPLEXED PHOTOELECTRIC AMPLIFIER SERIES
The MPA series is a range of multi channel, multiplexed photoelectric amplifiers, which are to be used in conjunction with a relevant number of sets of remote transmitters LT and receivers LR, from the series 100, 110 and 120.
The MPA series consists of MPA 21 (2 multiplexed channels); MPA 41 (4 multiplexed channels) and MPA 81 (8 multiplexed channels). Each channel operates independently of each other with their own set of remote transmitter and receiver. The multiplexing function ensures that optical cross talk between channels is prevented. The series offers a choice between individual relays or individual NPN/PNP transistor outputs, with or without an adjustable 0-3 sec on/off time delay.
This amplifier series offers manual sensitivity adjustment for each individual channel via integral potentiometers located on the front panel of the amplifier. Light or dark function and long or short range are switch selectable for each individual channel.

PAB - PHOTOELECTRIC AMPLIFIER BUS SERIES
The PAB series consists of a 1-channel, a 2-channel and a-3 channel photoelectric amplifier, which are to be used in conjunction with the Telco remote transmitter LT and receiver LR from the series 100, 110 and 120. This amplifier series offers manual sensitivity adjustment via an integral potentiometer located on the front panel of the amplifier. Output can be selected from either a relay or transistor output, with an adjustable 0-10 sec on/off time delay. Light or dark function and long or short range are switch selectable.
The amplifiers from the PAB series can be connected together with up to 9 amplifiers from the PAB series via a bus rail connector positioned on the DIN rail, to form a modular master/slave system with 28 channels (PAB 10), 29 channels (PAB 20) or 30 channels (PAB 30). The bus connection enables communication between the amplifiers, which allows the channels of all the amplifiers to be multiplexed ensuring that optical cross talk between channels is prevented and allows a common output from the amplifier modules. Both the PAB x0 A and PAB x0 S can share power supply via the bus connection.
The amplifiers offer a test input, to be used for either disabling or enabling the transmitting power temporarily for test purposes. The amplifiers include an alarm output, which is used to indicate if the signal level is insufficient or if a sensor is faulty. The sensor LED drive powers the optional monitor

In assembly and handling technology, object verification systems are an integral part in assembly monitoring. The 100% testing of shape or position before, during or after the individual assembly steps prevents complex and cost-intensive re-working or reject of material or workpieces. With a size of only 42 x 42 x 43.5 mm the efector dualis contour sensor takes us to a new dimension and can solve applications where mounting space is at a premium. Furthermore, the industrially compatible mounting and wiring technology enables easy and time-saving integration into the system.
The operating software
Functionality and processing power are integrated in the efector dualis contour sensor enabling various options. For communication and parameter setting a USB adapter cable is used for the connection to the PC/laptop and with the operating software "efector dualis Control Panel" settings can be made and stored in the sensor. This professional software is menu-guided and is distinguished by its ease of use and user-friendliness. A new contour is set in the sensor in just 6 operating steps – easy to use.

These electronic devices, photoelectric sensors or photocells, use the light emission principle combined with the electronic and are made up
of an emitter or luminous source, the light rays of which are detected by a receiver. The variation in luminous signal, obtained when interrupting this ray, is converted into an electrical signal and is measured and used by
an electrical circuit. The light used is either infrared or red. By making use of this light various type of photoelectric sensors can be made. The AECO photoelectric sensors available in the FOTOSTAR range are the FT18M - FT18 -FTQ series in direct reflection, with reflector with polarized light and emitter-receiver versions. Due to their flexibility regarding the various
standard programmable versions these products offer the possibility of stocking reduction and are easily interchangeable with most of the units available on the market. They are used in the field of automation to check for the presence, counting, position control, etc., and they
are compatible with most logic programmers.

The transmitter and the receiver are integrated into a single housing as a light barrier. If the active light beam between the transmitter and the receiver is interrupted, the output is switched accordingly.
Thanks to the use of visible laser light, the sensor is very easy to align to the object. The use of a fine light beam ensures a small diameter spot over the entire width of the fork. This allows for the recognition of extremely small parts, holes, slots and notches.

The MLX90255BC linear sensor array consists of a 128 x 1 array of photodiodes, associated charge amplifier circuitry and a pixel data-hold function that provides simultaneous-integration start and stop times for all pixels. The pixels measure 200µm (H) by 66 µm (W). Operation is simplified by internal control logic that requires only a serial-input (SI) signal and a clock. The sensor consists of 128 photodiodes arranged in a linear array. Light energy falling on a photodiode generates photocurrent, which is integrated by the active integration circuitry associated with that pixel. During the integration period, a sampling capacitor connects to the output of the integrator through an analog switch. The amount of charge accumulated at each pixel is directly proportional to the light intensity and the integration time. The output and reset of the integrators is controlled by a 132-bit shift register and reset logic. An output cycle is initiated by clocking in a logic 1 on SI. This causes all 132 sampling capacitors to be disconnected from their respective integrators and starts an integrator reset period.

The opto-electronic cells allow the target detection of nature, cut and form different. According to the type and the configuration used, the distance from detection extends from 5 mm with 40 Mr. The optical fibre addition largely opens the prospects for applications of the cells, authorizing their use in narrow mediums, as well as in environments where intrinsic safety would prohibit any use of electronics.

The IS-120 series comprises optoelectronic sensors for use as light sensors (energetic or with background suppression) or as reflection light barriers. Light transmitter and receiver are both mounted in the same housing. The emitting diode emits radiation with a wavelength of 660 nm with red-light switches or. 880 nm with infrared switches. When hitting the detected object the pulsed light is reflected diffusely and partially impinges on the receiver. With energetic sensors the received energy is evaluated whereby the possible sensing distance is dependent on the colour/reflection characteristics and dimension/design of the object. By using sensors with background suppression the angle of incidence is evaluated and thus the sensing distance is to a great extent independent of the object’s characteristics. For example, these sensors are applicable to detect objects in front of bright or strongly reflecting surfaces.
