The S1-552 is an advanced 5kV insulation tester with a high output current and many time-saving features. A large, analog/digital LCD shows resistance valves up to 5 T%u03A9 and incorporated a timer and other test information. The output current, of up to 5mA, speeds up testing by charging capacitive loads quickly.
The 5 and 15-kV Megohmmeters are high-voltage, line operated instruments that can be used on all types of insulation tests ranging from 500 volts to 15 kV.
With over twenty 1-kV models to choose from, selecting the proper Megger insulation tester can appear a bewildering task at first. Actually all the process requires is a little organization. All Megger insulation testers perform essentially the same test in fundamentally the same manner %u2014 accurately and reliably. Refinements and added features, however, separate one model from another in application and operator appeal.

When measuring EMC conducted emissions from the equipment-under-test, (EUT) most standards specify a LISN (or artificial mains V-network) to couple the RF from the cable, and to provide a repeatable impedance at the measured frequencies. All LISN's fully comply with the relevant standards and feature a rigorous, individual calibration.

Based on its specifications, this device can be used in various applications. It is especially suitable for resistance measurement on insulating materials such as e.g. cable insulations, foils, textiles, surfaces, insulating liquids, etc. With a test voltage of 45 V, 100 V, 250 V and 500 V the device fulfi ls most test specifi cations such as e.g. DIN 51953, 53482 and 54345.
The guard switching allows single resistance measurements in a triangle wiring. This could be e.g. a two line cable with common shield or the measurement of insulating materials on a guardring measurement cell.
The selection of the measurement range is done manually or automatically. Fast subsequent measurements can be realized by the internal limit value indicator. When the measured value exceeds the limit the limit value indicator switches and activates a potential-free relay output. The megohmmeter is the right instrument for use in laboratory as well as industrial applications.

QT25 uses a unique method to detect exact PCB short circuit locations and also pinpoint the shorted components/tracks. Ideally PCB tracks are suppose to have zero resistance, but in actual conditions they have small resistance. The exact location of the short is where the instrument reads the lowest value of resistance and this resistance could be detected with a sensitive instrument like QT25, even in power planes.
QT25 can also be used in measuring the contact resistance of switches and relays in its milli-ohm mode.
QT25 is designed to apply a drive voltage of less than 200 millivolts, while detecting shorts in the populated PCBs, so as to avoid turning on the semiconductor devices inside the circuit, which could lead to misleading results.
There is a composite '16 character alpha numeric backlit LCD display' to show the Resistance range selected, Offset indication, Resistance value, and also the Units.
1. 4 wire resistance measurement
2. Back-lit 16 character alpha numeric display
3. Complimenting modulated audio tone
4. Resistor range of 200 milliohms, 2 ohms and 200 ohms.100 micro ohm resolution in 200 milli ohm range
5. Auto offset capability upto 200 ohms
