The RESISTOMAT® model 2329 is particularly suitable for quick measurements of low resistances in automated processes. Up to 50 measurements per second can easily be performed. The device complies with the latest CE guidelines and is designed for laboratory use as well as heavy-duty industrial applications.
A 2-fold and 4-fold comparator with switching outputs has been included for classifi cation and selection; this feature is particularly useful for serial experiments.
One special application involves the measurement of contact resistances (dry-circuit measurement); the load voltage in this case is limited to 20 mV in order to prevent fritting (DIN IEC 512). The RS232 (standard) and IEEE488 (option) computer interfaces allow fully automatic testing stations to be set up. The PLC interface allows easy integration into your production process control.

Picoammeters
- Model 428-PROG Programmable Current Amplifier
The Model 428-PROG Programmable Current Amplifier converts fast, small currents to a voltage, which can be easily digitized or displayed by an oscilloscope, waveform analyzer, or data acquisitionsystem. It uses a sophisticated "feedback current" circuit to achieve both fast rise times and sub-picoamp noise. The gain of the Model 428-PROG is adjustable in decade increments from 103V/A to 1011V/A, with selectable rise times from 2μs to 300ms.
- Model 6485 5-1/2 digit Picoammeter with 10fA Resolution
- Model 6487 Picoammeter/Voltage Source

The V420 is an 8-channel, isolated, programmable resistance simulator. It uses entirely solid-state simulation to eliminate transient errors associated with relay switching, and provide for monotonic resistance changes. Channels are individually programmable in four resistance ranges, from 5 ohms to 65.5K on all ranges. Channels can operate from microvolts up to 24V / 50mA. Overload protection and channel error detection are included.
Any channel may be rerouted, under software control, to the front-panel calibration-check connector, allowing the board to be tested for calibration by a precision DVM without disturbing the connections to the equipment under test. The BIST option adds an onboard precision ohmmeter, allowing loopback checking and full automatic self-test. Optional external termination and bridge-completion boards are available.
Features Include:
- Eight channel, isolated, wide-range, 2/4 wire resistance simulator.
- Fast, monotonic, glitch-free resistance value programming.
- Suitable for simulating resistors, platinum/copper RTDs, thermistors, strain gages, load cells.
- Users may directly program resistances or RTD simulation (copper or platinum) temperatures.
- Four programmable resistance ranges allow resistances from 5 ohms to 65.5 Kohms.
- Any channel is switchable to front-panel calibration check connector for in-system test without disconnecting field wiring.
- Simple register based VME interface with no handshaking required.
- Optional built-in self-test (BIST) and mil/COTS versions available.
- Optional termination panels and bridge completion boards available.

Testing of insulation plays a great role in electrotechnics.Dielectric breakdown tests are important to the safe functioning of everything from power distribution transformers to household appliances. Impulse voltage tests are characterized by a 1.2/50us waveform. This is as industry standard.
The huge range of devices to be tested requires impulse generators from a few hundred volts(V) up to hundreds of thousands of volts(kV). The impulses have low energy content, but this can vary depending on the application.
EMC PARTNER offer a range of instruments starting from 250V up to 100kV. All units have the necessary connections and safety features relative to the test.
Many product specific standards incorporate insulation testing as part of the safety criteria.

Digital Winding Resistance Reporter
Model DWR-10
The Digital Winding Resistance (DWR) REPORTER can measure and save more than 10,000 high-resolution test results along with transformer nameplate data. With its expansive memory, its bright 45/8" x 3½" LCD screen and the attractive reports from its 40-character wide built-in printer, the DWR is the new standard in test equipment for the Transmission and Distribution Industry. The DWR can store hundreds of files. Each file can contain a virtually unlimited number of winding resistance measurements with tap and winding details of each, and several fields of information about the transformer, its location and the operator's name.
DWR REPORTER Features
- A large, color LCD screen for entering equipment details and presenting results, in various languages
- An expansive memory capacity for test results
- A robust power supply for fast testing of large power transformers
- An 40-character-wide built-in printer
- Remote tap-changer operation
- Compatible with Microsoft Excel® and Microsoft Word®
The Digital Winding Resistance Reporter file manager makes it easy to locate, open, view and print past results. Files are conveniently named according to the transformer serial number (up to 99 duplicates are permitted using an automatic suffix). Files are easily transferred to PC (RS-232 and USB ports).
