Description
The fibre optic humidity detection HS-01 makes use of a humidity sensitive element that is connected to a FBG. The humidity element shows a very strong swelling effect when humidity reaches 80%. Due to the swelling, the FBG will be strained resulting into a wavelength shift of the FBG. The complete system is mounted within a ruggidised housing foreseen of a water ingress professional filter.
In order to compensate for temperature influences, a high resolution manufacturer of temperature probe is integrated within the housing.
The housing is made of stainless steel and is terminated with an optical interconnection using a plastic tubing. Tubing lengths and manufacturer of connector can be specified following the needs of every application.
The sensor also can be connectorised at both ends to make series configurations possible.
Features
The fibre optic humidity sensor HS-01 is an on/off sensor that detects water ingress or relative humidity above 80%. The sensor also can measure temperature with a resolution of 0,1°C and an accuracy of 1,0 °C respectively.
Applications
The humidity sensor HS-01 can be mounted on as well as embedded in all kind of structures for leakage detection of pipelines, dams, dikes,... |

Product Description:
Libratherm offers Relative Humidity and Temperature transmitter model HTX-3000 for measuring and transmitting the analogue and digital values proportional to these two parameters. HTX-3000 is designed using the latest micro-controller, incorporating Pt-100 class A element for temperature sensing and Monolithic sensor for %RH sensing. The two independent loop current outputs of 4-20mA proportional to both the parameters are available for remote measurement and indication. To suit industrial requirement the transmitter is available in both duct type and wall mounting type
assembly, and for the local indication of %RH and Temperature, two independent 4 digit 7 segment red Light emitting diode displays are provided. For serial interface with PLC SUPPLIER or DCS or with any other industrial process controller – digital serial communication on RS485 bus with MODBUS RTU protocol in slave mode is also provided. Using RS 485 interface is advantageous, since number of wires as with the three wire of 4-20mA per transmitter can be avoided (3 wires multiply by no. of industrial transmitters), since only two wires can be looped with multiple transmitters in multi-drop wiring. These transmitters finds application in HVAC, Climatic control, Stability chamber, Hospitals, Green houses, useful for Validation agencies and for regulatory requirement of FDA, CGMP, ISO14644 etc….
