Radar Level counter for distance, level and volume of liquids, pastes and solids
OPTIWAVE
works better than any radar ever before.
In contrast to earlier radar devices, the new OPTIWAVE with its more advanced design solutions is able to operate over a larger bandwidth. This ensures a sharper resolution and higher accuracy. The higher signal dynamics of OPTIWAVE allow the detection of even the smallest level changes.

| The 4790 Continuous Gamma Level System raises the standard for non-contacting nuclear level measuring. The non-contacting and non-invasive design makes the 4790 ideal for abrasive, corrosive, high pressure and high temperature applications regardless of vessel shape or size. |
|
Continuous Level measuring
The external mounting and the non intrusive arrangement of a continuous level measurement are some of the outstanding advantages, that determine it for various applications like:
high- and low-pressure reactors
agitated vessels
bunkers
suppliers of autoclaves
hot material industrial containers, etc.
No matter, what the physical- and chemical properties of the measured product are nor what the shape of the vessel is.

High frequency microwave impulses are coupled to a cable or rod and guided along the probe. The impulses are reflected by the product surface and received by the processing electronics.
Due to this measuring principle, the comprehensive adjustment with the product is no longer necessary. The instruments are adjusted to the ordered industrial electrode length. The shortable cable and rod versions are suitable for individual adaptation to the local conditions.
Even process conditions such as high dust and noise generation or strong steamy atmospheres do not influence the accuracy of the measurement.
Density fluctuations, different granulation or even fluidising do not influence the accuracy. This applies also to the change from dry to wet gravel.
Strong build-up on the electrode or on the vessel wall does not affect the measuring result.
With measuring ranges up to 30 m, the sensors are also suitable for high vessels. Temperatures up to 150°C and pressures from vacuum up to 40 bar cover a wide application range.
By using a coaxial guide tube, VEGAFLEX 65 operates completely unaffected by vessel installations such as e.g. heating spirals or struts. A special adjustment is not necessary. |

Hydrostatic Tank Gauging (HTG)
Enraf has been continually searching for new technologies and has developed remarkably innovative level measurement solutions tailored to your requirements. The techniques employed by Enraf tank gauging systems are complementary, yet each has its own advantage. The hydrostatic systems (HTG), which can be used in a mixed installation with SmartRadar manufacturer of level gauges and ATG and XTG servo gauges.
HTG is a system based on the use of intelligent hydrostatic industrial pressure transmitters. Basically this system is designed for direct mass measurement. In the process industry, this technology is common used for deriving a level indication. |
|
Level measuring by hydrostatic pressure
The use of a pressure transmitter specifications for the level measurement is an economical solution in particular for the chemical and petrochemical industries. The professional transmitter can be with direct or capillary mounted membrane seals.
These instruments can handle extreme chemical and mechanical loads and are no sensitive to electromagnetic interference. They can be used for all liquids, corrosive or not, and for closed or open tanks.

With our new Industrial laser-Distance Sensors DLS-B you measure absolute distances up to 500 meters. Thanks to state of the art laser technology the DLS-B device measures with a precision of 1.5 millimeters. It represents a cost efficient solution even at extreme environment temperatures as low as -40° C.
The DLS-B is an optical measuring device. You can measure, maintenance-free, distances on natural and reflective surfaces. You determine positions on objects difficult to access or with very high surface temperatures. Just as well you can measure distances in an aggressive environment in an easy and accurate way.
Serial, analog and digital interfaces are standard features for the complete DLS-B product line. This enables you to easily connect the DLS-B to a control system (SPS, IPC or PC)
The DLS-B device runs in a “Stand-alone-mode” and independently executes all programmed functions. Thanks to the flexible range of functions an external display can be connected directly to the DLS-B device via interface RS232 or RS422. Via a digital input, measurements can also be activated from an external button or switch.
For easy configuration of the DLS-B devices, the necessary software is at your disposal |

Dancer or Follower Arm? You'll find both operating modes applicable for the DFC-90 and DFC-A low cost tension controls.
Dancer Mode:
In dancer control applications, the DFC-90 and DFC-A are full PID closed loop dancer controls. They control web tension by sensing the position of the dancer arm through a DFP or DFP-2 Position sensor manufacturers and adjusting the professional clutch, brake or motor control torque accordingly to maintain the dancer position set point. An advanced control algorithm provides optimum control and ease of use.
Follower Arm Mode:
In follower arm applications, the DFC-90 and DFC-A control web tension by compensating for measured changes in the roll diameter. Roll diameter changes are measured through the DFP or DFP-2 Position Sensor and a follower arm. An optional Stop Multiplier provides additional stopping torque to help stop large unwind rolls.
Make quick setup adjustments using the easily accessible potentiometric. All adjustments are intuitive and clearly marked. |
