Slimmest BGS* Reflective Detection in the Market
Series now includes BGS reflective model with black/white error of 15%
Easy optical axis adjustment with emitter axis accuracy of ±2° (Through-beam Model)
Noise and external light resistance enhanced to that of E3Z or equivalent
Complete Compliance with RoHS
The Slimmest BGS (Background Suppression) Reflective Supplier of photoelectric sensors in the World
Ultra slim at 3.5 mm and black/white error of only 15%.
For example, the E3TFL1@ can stably detect a black object at 12 mm
without being affected by a white background at 20 mm.
OMRON provides BGS performance sharper than the previous Convergentreflective Sensors.
Great Reductions in Time Required for Adjusting Through-beam Sensor Optical Axes
Even at this size the Emitter axis accuracy is ±2°. High-precision alignment technology has enabled maximum reduction of light axis fluctuations of the Emitter beam. The margin for the received light is doubled if the Emitter and Receiver mechanical axes are aligned (at the rated sensing distance).
Improved Detection Stability for Reflective Sensors
Uses the well-praised disturbance light bypass algorithm from the E3Z Series. Environmental resistance to industrial inverter fluorescent lights and other light interference has been greatly improved.

In assembly and handling technology, object verification systems are an integral part in assembly monitoring. The 100% testing of shape or position before, during or after the individual assembly steps prevents complex and cost-intensive re-working or reject of material or workpieces. With a size of only 42 x 42 x 43.5 mm the efector dualis contour sensor takes us to a new dimension and can solve applications where mounting space is at a premium. Furthermore, the industrially compatible mounting and wiring technology enables easy and time-saving integration into the system.
The operating professional software
Functionality and processing power are integrated in the efector dualis contour sensor enabling various options. For communication and parameter setting a USB adapter professional cable is used for the professional connection to the PC/laptop and with the operating software "efector dualis Professional control panel" settings can be made and stored in the sensor. This professional software is menu-guided and is distinguished by its ease of use and user-friendliness. A new contour is set in the sensor in just 6 operating steps – easy to use. |

The MLX90255BC linear detector array consists of a 128 x 1 array of manufacturer of photodiodes, associated charge amplifier circuitry and a pixel data-hold function that provides simultaneous-integration start and stop times for all pixels. The pixels measure 200µm (H) by 66 µm (W). Operation is simplified by internal control logic that requires only a serial-input (SI) signal and a clock. The sensor consists of 128 photodiodes arranged in a linear array. Light energy falling on a photodiode generates photocurrent, which is integrated by the active integration circuitry associated with that pixel. During the integration period, a sampling capacitor connects to the output of the integrator through an analog switch. The amount of charge accumulated at each pixel is directly proportional to the light intensity and the integration time. The output and reset of the integrators is controlled by a 132-bit shift register and reset logic. An output cycle is initiated by clocking in a logic 1 on SI. This causes all 132 sampling capacitors to be disconnected from their respective integrators and starts an integrator reset period.

Special tasks require special solutions. In addition to the standard photoelectric sensors manufacturers and fibre optic systems ifm electronic offers special detection for certain applications.
Marks and colours
ifm electronic offers sensors for colour detection. They can monitor up to three colour marks at the same time.
Glass and film detection
Counting glass or PET bottles or reliable web-break monitoring of clear film can be carried out using purpose-built retro-reflective sensors.
Heat
Heat sensors are used for temperature monitoring in hot areas, for example in the steel and glass industry, or for the position detection of a hot object too hazardous for a standard sensor.
Contrast and colour sensors in industrial processes
For automating operations in manufacturing and process industry contrast and colour sensors are gaining more and more importance. In practice applications are almost unlimited. They range from identifying and sorting coloured objects through to checking coloured surfaces. Often there is a colour in the object which can be picked up, if not a mark can be applied easily. |

The ceprox/TLS 250 optical sensor is a diffuse-reflective sensor with intelligent signal processing. By using microprocessor technology in a miniaturized sensor, the detection range is automatically controlled. The sensor adapts automatically to its surroundings and suppresses signals reflected from the background. Builtin indicators aid in implementation and
help with trouble-shooting.
The spherical design is extremely compact and enables alignment of the sensor on all axes over a large angular field. Customer-specific or standard mounting brackets simplify installation.
This intelligent sensor is ideal for opening and safeguarding of automatic doors and gates, as well as for general counting or presence control of larger objects, such as postal packages, vehicles or people. |

The IS-120 series comprises optoelectronic transducers for use as light sensors (energetic or with background suppression) or as reflection optical barriers. Light professional transmitter and receiver are both mounted in the same housing. The emitting diode emits radiation with a wavelength of 660 nm with red-light switches or. 880 nm with infrared switches. When hitting the detected object the pulsed light is reflected diffusely and partially impinges on the receiver. With energetic sensors the received energy is evaluated whereby the possible sensing distance is dependent on the colour/reflection characteristics and dimension/design of the object. By using sensors with background suppression the angle of incidence is evaluated and thus the sensing distance is to a great extent independent of the object’s characteristics. For example, these sensors are applicable to detect objects in front of bright or strongly reflecting surfaces.
