Last born of the inductive proximity detectors, the DuroProx family; propose detectors in a case of only one part 100% stainless, with an immunity against the parasites meeting the standard INTO 61000-6-2.
Available out of cylindrical cases M8, M12 and M18 in version industrial connector, these detectors find their application in harsh environments (persistent stains, aggressive chemical mediums, disturbed electromagnetic fields) thanks to their class of protection IP68 for the front face and IP67 for the case. Their resistance authorizes even pressures to 20 bars on the front face.
Planned for a quasi drowned assembly, they reach a range of detection of 6 Misters.
A posting of commutation with several LED, as from connections resisting the vibrations still come to improve the profile of these detectors truly designed for industrial applications.
Versions without LED, with a class of protection IP69K, are also available on request!
In the months to come, versions diameter 6,5 and high temperature will come to support the offer of the DuroProx® range. |

Ultrasonic sensors present the ideal solution for non-contact position and distance measurement in all industrial areas where environmental conditions such as dust, smoke or steam may effect the detection. Objects consisting of a variety of materials can be detected regardless of colour or shape to within millimetres.
The sensor uses very high frequencies that are outside of the human’s audible range, as a data carrier. The time it takes the ultrasonic wave to pass between the sensor and the object is the value for the distance or the position. Ultrasonic sensors have proven their reliability and precision especially in the wood and furniture industry, the construction materials industry, farming equipment, construction equipment and in level control applications.
Pepperl+Fuchs’ ultrasonic sensors currently encompass 8 series of mechanical designs for through-beam, direct detection and reflex operation with more than 40 designs and models. Customer and application specific custom solutions underscore our technological competence in this area of sensors.

The RPS-150A analog ultrasonic sensor is mounted in a limit switch housing and is completely self contained. It is powered by 20-30VDC and is reverse polarity protected. It also has a wide beam angle which enables it to detect a target that is not at right angles. A flat target can tilt up to 35 degrees and still be detected. The RPS-150A has 2 short circuit protected analog outputs, 4-20mA and 0-10VDC. These outputs can easily be inverted and can be scaled over almost any range by means of adjusting the zero & span control. For set-up purposes an LED strength indicator is provided.
This LED is green when not detecting and fades to RED as a target moves into place, depending on how much reflected signal is coming back from the target. The frequency of operation is 38.5kHz. There are two ranges available in this model 2" to 40" or 5" to 80". It also features a quick disconnect receptacle. The housing is constructed of plastic valox and has standard 30mm X 60mm limit switch mounting dimensions as well as side holes for mounting the sensor on its side.

Ultrasonic manufacturer of proximity switches are used wherever distances have to be measured in air. The targets to be detected can be in the solid, liquid, granular or powder state. The material may be transparent, or colored and of any shape, as well as having a polished or matt surface.
Contrinex ultrasonic proximity switches are available as diffuse and reflex sensors. The delivery program comprises M18 short devices adjustable with teach-in, as well as compact switches in sizes M18 and M30, programmable by means of a potentiometer and/or interface. The M18 compact devices are available with either switching or analog outputs. In addition, versions of the M30 execution are available with either one or two switching outputs, or with analog and switching outputs in the same device. Contrinex ultrasonic proximity switches are notable for their high excess gain as well as a small blind zone, and can achieve operating distances of up to 6000 mm. For optimum adjustment to the application conditions, the compact switch parameters can be programmed, visualized, checked and modified by means of a PC interface device and the accompanying CONPROG professional software. |

| Honeywell Sensing and Control ultrasonic distance sensors solve tough position sensing problems, detecting targets made of practically any material. They work in dry, dusty environments. Particularly useful where other sensing technologies have difficulty, such as: clear or shiny objects, foggy or particle laden air, splashing liquids, etc. Also where larger sensors or longer sensing distances are required. |
|
In the area of modern industrial sensors, Mayser offers you a tailor-made, intelligent solution: the efficient ultrasonic sensor USIE with extremely flat noise characteristics, which has a blind zone of just one centimetre and an operating range of 200 centimetres.
The new sensor series is based on an ultrasonic industrial converter with excellent adaptation to the medium of air. Interaction with a high gain analogue electronic system results in unique reception sensitivity, enabling scanning of small objects at great distances. For example, a wire with a diameter of one millimetre can be reliably detected at a distance of 1000 millimetres.

Sonar Proximity switches manufacturers SIMATIC PXS
From 3 cm to 10 m - They Hear Everything!
Our sonar proximity switches sense objects of varying materials, shapes, colors or consistencies with absolute precision, flexibility and reliability. The application potential is almost unlimited. Whether recording fill levels or heights, measuring distances or counting bottles, our switches recognize objects with a wide range of properties from a distance of 3 cm to 10 m, regardless whether they are liquid, solid, powdery or even transparent. Surface conditions are irrelevant as well - they can be rough or smooth, clean or dirty, wet or dry. Our proximity switches feature maximum ruggedness and resistance against dirt, vibration and extraneous light or sound.

|
| Ultrasonic sensors use ultrasonic waves for non-contact and wear-free detection of a large variety of objects. It does not matter whether the object is transparent or opaque, metallic or non-metallic, or of liquid, solid or powdery consistence. Environmental conditions such as professional spray, dust or rain hardly affect their function. |

| The RPS-40-5 is a compact, high frequency sensor. It was introduced to the Migatron family of ultrasonic sensors to better meet the needs of the machine manufacturing industry. This sensor has a wide array of application solutions not found in other proximity sensor manufacturers technologies. The RPS-40-5 has a fixed 0.5-5" sensing range with background suppression (meaning any object with the range is detected, while objects out of the range are ignored). It cannot be affected by changes in target color or material. |

| Ultrasonic proximity detectors with automated switch from current to voltage output and increasing/decreasing output. |

The RPS-322 (model shown) has 2 sealed stainless steel multiplexed transducers, independent range control adjustments, Led monitors, and form C relay outputs.
The transducer head is constructed of 303 grade stainless steel with a 302 grade stainless steel sensing face, and is best suited for environments where dirt and moisture are a problem, as well as some chemical environments. This sensor also has a unique master and slave feature which enables many of the same units to be used within close proximity of one another without cross-talk interference. For example, if three sensors are needed in a close area, one sensor would be left as a master and the other two would be slaves.
The remote transducers allow for mounting of the sensor heads in cramped spaces while the controller is out of the way. The (2) independent and isolated form C relays furnish N.O. and N.C. outputs. This sensor operates at a frequency of 150kHz for the 72" range. This sensor has a narrow sensing beam. Mounting flanges, LED indicators, ranging potentiometers, and 6-ft. transducer cables are included. Optional cable lengths are available.
