They also meet EN 55022 Class B EMI and EN 50121-3-2 (EMI and EMC). The plug-in (Eurocard) series is rated for operation over a -25 to +70oC temperature range without derating, with natural convection cooling. Features typically include full electronic protection on the input and output, optocoupler, optional alarm output and optional control input. An optional built-in redundancy diode to allow for parallel connection to achieve higher output power or N+1 redundancy is available on most designs.
These compact plug-in modules are typically used in 19” rack-mount applications. They are heavily ruggedized and conformal coated and designed to meet IEC 61373 Categories 1 A & B shock and vibration standards.
Absopulse Electronics provides an extensive range of power supplies for operation in railway, industrial and other extreme environments in encapsulated or vented, chassis mount packages. If our standard designs do not meet your requirements, our engineering team will provide a cost-effective solution to meet your exact specifications.

The DC/DC power supply systems of the series MPG from MTM Power, the specialist for high-quality unparallely power supplies, are designed among others for different applications in transportation, telecommunications and the charging of lead batteries during stand-by parallel operation. The universally useable, modular and easy-to-scale system is based on the DC/DC converters of the series PCMD200W and PCMD400W which are proved in transportation applications. The series MPG2 is available with 2 plug-in positions and a total output power of 500-800 W and the series MPG3 with 3 plug-in positions and a total output power of 750-1.200 W. With different wide input voltage ranges between 14,4 VDC and 154 VDC, the devices supply an output voltage of 12, 24, 48, 72 and 110 VDC. The output voltage operates with UI characteristic curve. The system can be switched into an energy-saving stand-by operation via a remote control input. Further features are signalling of input and output voltage by an LED as well as a potential-free power good signal. The whole system is passively cooled by convection and is designed for an ambient temperature range of -40...+70 °C.

MTM Power GmbH, the specialist for high quality power supplies, has designed the DC/DC converter series SMM50 for the use in vehicles, particularly for railway applications. These converters have an output power of 50 watts and are suitable for the stationary use as well as for the mobile use acc. to EN 50 155. The nominal input voltages are 24 VDC ((14,4…50,4 VDC), 48 VDC (28,8…100,8 VDC) and 110 VDC (43,2…154 VDC) and 230 VAC (85…264 VAC). Due to these input voltage ranges, the converters can be used in all on-board power systems. The output voltages are galvanically separated and are available as single, dual and triple versions. Further features are vibration and shock resistance acc. to IEC 68 T.2-27, high efficiency of 79...89 % and reverse polarity protection at the input. The devices are prepared for the use in 19" racks and have a H11 connector acc. to DIN 41 612. The dimensions are 173,0 x 38,7 x 111,2 mm or 177,0 x 40,2 x 128,4 mm (length x width x height). The series SMM50 needs no ground load, is short circuit protected and has various monitoring and protection systems.
