ATEX
EX enclosures are specially made for use in hazardous environments. They are designed, manufactured and tested to international standards. All certificates, such as ATEX, are issued by the manufacturer under license from a test authority. EX enclosures are made of either aluminium, polycarbonate or polyester.

Spacial 3D.ATEX enclosure
The new "ATEX European Directive", relating to equipment used in explosive, gas or dust-laden atmospheres imposes significant improvements in safety of persons and equipment in chemicals,
refining, flour-milling, grain storage, etc. From 1st July 2003, only those products that meet the requirements of this directive can be marketed and installed.
* The Spacial 3D.ATEX enclosure range is ATEX approved by the LCIE under
reference number 02 ATEX 0037 U.
* Enclosures carry double marking:
- new approach: 00 81 Ex II 2 G/D,
- additional marking according to
EN 50014 and EN 50019 stadards: EEx e II.

Protection degree is IP65 according to EN50298 NEMA for single door, IP55 for double door.
Four or six studs are welded inside the boxes (with the exception of 150mm depth enclosure), allowing the mounting of both an inner door, a modular chassis, a rack frame or the mounting plate adjustement system.
All the accessories are supplied separately so that to increase flexibility and optimizing finished products inventory.

St range of wall mounting enclosures is one of the highest quality metallic enclosures available on the market. A well engineered project, which has been continuously updated and improved, has allowed the creation of a wide range of possible variations.
The actual ST range includes the following versions:
- 32 sizes manufactured from Fe40 sheet steel with blank door
- 19 sizes with glazed doors
in both single and double door versions.
