A vertical convex strip symmetrically runs along the front side, gathering the handgrip control, which can be also provided with lock, the transparent opening for the monitoring of switches or protective fuses that connect down with the socket, following the round profile of the cover and being a sort of functional axis of the product. The small window has been installed by overprinting. It allows maintaining the IP67 degree of protection without using any gasket or shutter, with perfectly smooth surfaces.

The iCon is a fail-safe InterConnect method that provides versatility and convenience for test engineers. It combines signal, power and coaxial modules in one compact device. High density modules can be used for mating up to 320 signal contacts using VPC’s QuadraPaddle technology. Engaging the ITA and the Receiver only requires a quick half-turn of the handle. This engaging mechanism secures the connector while guaranteeing consistent performance up to 10,000 cycles. Its keying and guide pin configurations protect contacts from damage when using multiple connectors, and contacts have been recessed for added pin protection. The removable U-shaped cable clamp and slide-off cover allow modules to be pre-wired before assembly providing ease of installation and serviceability.

The Winchester Electronics line of PC Power connectors provides a versatile and effective means of supplying low- to mid-range power for board-to-board applications. PC Power connectors are available in 8-, 12-, and 30-position socket receptacles and pin headers. All connector types are available in straight and right-angle solder terminations as well as straight compliant press-fit terminations. The compliant press-fit connectors are available for the "standard" press-fit PCB hole size of 0.64" and also in a .080" PCB hole size for the direct drop-in replacement of solder termination connectors.
PC Power compliant termination connectors utilize Winchester's unique
"C-Press" contact design. The press-fit installation of C-Press contacts do not require soldering and, as a result, are a more cost-effective means of board termination. Conventional high current plugs and socket-outlets are difficult to handle and don't guarantee watertight for plug insertion and removal.

The new SPeX connector, is an EX power connector (1000 V, 680 A) with ‘e’ increased safety enables the user to connect and disconnect heavy duty equipment simply and safely.
Designed for use in hazardous areas the SPeX is ATEX 94/9/CE approved for zones 1 & 2 (gas) and zones 21 & 22 (dust). It offers automatic IP66/IP67 ingress protection rating as soon as the plug is inserted into the socket. Electromechanical interlocking is provided via a microswitch (which opens and closes all phases simultaneously) to protect the user and to prevent electrical destabilisation of equipment.
The casing is manufactured in glassfibre-reinforced polyester which affords excellent mechanical protection (IK08) and resistance to UV and chemical agents.
Typical applications include mobile gensets, ship-to-shore supplies, mines, offshore platforms etc.
The incorrect mating of phases is mechanically impossible. Furthermore colour-coding enables a visual check.

OVAL POWER CONNECTORS
Available in both polarized and nonpolarized designs; the nonpolarized design permits reverse phasing in three phase applications.
Receptacles have terminal backs for easy wiring and are available with spring-loaded sealing covers. The heavy-duty castings can be either panel mounted or furnished with a wiring box. Mating male and female plugs molded to standard lengths of cable are available with or without safety chains to prevent accidental disconnect.
Ovals are molded to various standard lengths of neoprene jacketed cable.

Self-Contained Power Connectors from Molex are used to splice and tap solid and stranded non-metallic sheathed cable. The connector family supports two and three conductor plus ground circuits for AC power applications. The product line features insulation displacement contacts which provide wire termination without the need to pre-strip the wires. The splice connectors are used to splice two cable segments together and replace butt connectors, wire nuts, and junction boxes used in traditional splice applications. Tap connectors operate in similar fashion and are used to support taps of existing cable segments to create new branch circuits.
