| EMC filter solutions for industrial applications like motor drives and machine tools. Furthermore, these types of filters are also suitable for mainframe computer systems, large uninterruptible power supplies, medical equipment, wind turbine power stations and a vast array of other threephase power electronics. |
|
| LCR's 3 Phase EMI filters (RFI filters, EMC filters) are typically used in Power Electronic products. These EMI filters attenuate mains-borne EMI generated back into the power line. LCR's 3 phase EMI filters also protect sensitive electronics and make them less susceptible to surges, Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and other harmful voltage and current surges. Typical applications for these EMI filters (RFI filters, EMC filters) are in three-phase industrial drives, controllers, frequency converters and industrial machine tools. |

In order to meet demands for complete, comprehensive system solutions, power supplies for mounting rail installation are available in the B&R product line. This extensive spectrum ranges from 2.1 A single-phase up to three-phase power supplies which can supply 40 A. All switching power supplies can manage a wide range of AC and DC input voltages. This input ranges from 100 to 240 VAC or 400 to 500 VAC and from 85 to 375 VDC. Devices are protected against short-circuit, overload, and open-circuit which allows them to be operated without functional limitations or derating even when overloads between 15% and 25% occur.

JU Series Single-Phase Thyristor Regulators
The JU series small and lightweight thyristor regulators for single-phase loads are characterized with high panel installation density.
Two control systems, a phase-angle firing system and a zero-cross firing system, are built in and can be changed by remote contacts signal.

| The MEW range of controllers are designed for regulating a three phase supply, using the phase-angle control principle. There are a number of versions available and choice depends upon the preferred method of control. The simplest units are used in conjunction with potentiometers or analog signals that provide the set point to give voltage, current or power regulation. Microprocessor control provides more functions for customising, through a digital front panel and also the ability to operate from standard field bus systems such as Interbus or Profibus. |

The REOTRON MEK 7711 provides a stabilised voltage within ± 6 % of nominal for a wide range of different supply voltages. It is possible to accommodate a variation on the supply of up to ± 25 %. The unit is delivered with plug-connectors fitted and is ready to operate with the equipment that requires a stable supply.
The output voltage is adjusted in 6 steps so that the input voltage range of 75% to 125% is stabilised to 94% to 106% of the effective 230V output. This is achieved by using an auto-transformer with a primary winding that has multi-tappings which correspond to different supply voltages. On the secondary side there are a further six tappings, which are connected to the output circuit through solid state switches (triacs). A microprocessor controller determines the appropriate tapping, depending to the input voltage level. In this way a constant output voltage is maintained.
Externally, a row of LED's are used to indicate whether the voltage is outside the allowable limits and which tapping has been selected. A soft-start prevents false tripping when the unit is powered-up.
Surge suppression is available as an optional extra.
