The RE2 Series has an autotransformer with multiple sockets, each one of which are electrically joined to a solid-state switch. These switches are controlled by a industrial control card with a built-in micro-processor, which controls the output voltage and depending on its level, chooses one or another socket for the purpose of obtaining the most optimum voltage level and with the pre-programmed precision. It has a servo-system which controls the output voltage instead of the input voltage.
Using similar technology, the PLC2 series also incorporates a primary-secondary low capacity, galvanized isolated transformer, and therefore achieving a perfectly stable voltage and the elimination of all kinds of electrical noise.
Both series ensure a perfectly stabilized and "filtered" supply line.

| Sola/Hevi-Duty's ferroresonant power conditioners protect equipment from all power problems other than a complete loss of power. They excel at tightly regulating voltage within ±1.0% for input variations up to +10%/-20%, provide superior noise attenuation and are designed to withstand the harshest electrical environments. With no moving parts, Sola's ferroresonant power conditioners are virtually maintenance-free. |

| The DeviceNet protocol dramatically reduces costs by integrating up to 62 devices on a 4-wire trunk network. Communications data is carried over two wires with a second pair of wires carrying power. Discrete and analog devices may be connected into the DeviceNet protocol. |
|
| AS-Interface networks up to 62 field devices onto a single pair of wires that delivers both signal and power. Actuator specifications Sensor Interface, or AS-Interface, was developed by a group of sensor manufacturers and introduced into the market in 1994. Since that time, it has become the de facto standard for discrete sensors in process industries throughout the world. AS-Interface may be used in hazardous process environments using explosion proof, tray cable, nonincendive and for nonincendive wiring protection concepts. |
|
| Foundation Field network H1 level has been designed as a digital replacement of the 4 to 20mA standard in the process industries. Foundation Fieldbus is also a LAN (Local Area Network) for instruments used in both process and manufacturing automation with built-in capability to distribute the control application across the network. The physical wiring is also fully compatible with intrinsic safety (IS) or nonincendive wiring standards and may be used in hazardous, as well as general purpose areas. In hazardous areas standard explosion-proofing or power limited concepts may be used, as well as IS concepts, offering greater cabling design flexibility. |

This technique makes it possible to improve in a considerable way consumption of energy for brazing compared to traditional technologies. (3 to 4 times less power consumption for the same result).
Moreover this technology adapts perfectly to new nanomaterials with difficult coating like sheet metals THLE for example.
The speed of welding is quite higher than traditional technologies what makes it possible to improve rates of welding and thus the productivity. Moreover, the nanomaterials with strong thermal conductivity like aluminum or brass become weldable then without the need for an installation of several hundred kVA (example: With a whole of welding of 65kVA, we can weld triple thickness of aluminum of 2mm).
The energy losses being strongly decreased, the requirements in cooling are reduced what limits pollution generally and that also reduces the expenses of infrastructure related to the installation of such a unit (drivers, less powerful concerned with safety units).
Lastly, the experience gained with several systems already established in the car industry, of the electric household appliances or of the tooling showed us that the volume of consumable strongly decreased thus carrying out advantage of economies. |

| The ISA range of Inverter power supply units provides the highest level of control available today in large scale resistance splicer. The ISA-500AR, ISA-1000AR and ISA-2000AR are intelligently packaged in “NEMA” style industrial enclosures and are designed to deliver robust performance in the harshest of production environments. The ISA models can deliver 500, 1000 and 2000 amps of primary welding current, respectively. |

Protection Industrial filters are used on distribution networks which have a high THD (Total harmonic distortion), when the final target is to compensate the power factor at the fundamental frequency.
Its purpose is to avoid overloads due to harmonic currents in the capacitor, deflecting them to the network.
Protection filters are made with serial reactors and capacitors supplier. The tuned frequency of each unit is adjusted between the fundamental and the lower harmonic present in the net, which usually is the 5 th order.
In this way, the filters present high inductive impedance for all the harmonic frequencies. |

MTE Matrix Industrial filters solve the problem of harmonic distortion on virtually any kind of six pulse rectifier. These power sources are commonly found in three phase electronic equipment such as adjustable speed motor drives, suppliers of welders, battery chargers, servo drives and other equipment.
Harmonics are a problem
Harmonic distortion has become an increasing concern for facility managers, users of automation equipment and specifying engineers alike. Harmonics not only waste energy, but they reduce equipment life, electrical system reliability, system efficiency and equipment productivity.
Guaranteed results
Unlike other harmonic filter technologies, the performance of MTE Matrix Harmonic filters is guaranteed! On AC variable frequency, variable torque drive applications (professional fans & pumps), Matrix filters will meet the guaranteed maximum levels of THID (total harmonic current distortion) all the way from no load to full load. Additionally, Matrix filters will not cause power system resonance nor attract harmonics from other non-linear loads. No system analysis is required to select and apply Matrix Filters.

Looking into the future!
Finland, Jyvaskala January 2006 Jean Mueller launched their new IP20 protected L-shaped busbar system for the Scandinavian market. This system was especially designed for the Jean Mueller, vertical SL-fuse switch disconnector cassette system to protect people from touching the live copper bars. Next to their already existing busbar solution with flat copper bars this completes the ranges for the Scandinavian market. The question now rises if there is an enclosure solution which can handle both busbar systems into one solution?
The Eldon answer for the ABB and Jean Muller Vertical cassettes
In close co-operation with both ABB and Jean Mueller, Eldon has developed a ready to use market solution for both types of cassettes. The SL-fuse disconnector of JM and the InLine cassette of ABB. The new enclosure type is called MCBAxxxxV for Vertical mounting of the units. Customers who are buying the Eldon Multi-Flex® solution can decide either to build-in the IP20 protected busbar system or the standards flat copper busbar solution. Both will fit.
