Application - Miniature circuit breakers ETIMAT DC are
used for protection of conductors in direct current
electric circuits. 1-pole circuit breakers are used for
voltages up to 220 V d.c.
and for higher voltages (up to 440 V d.c.) 2-pole circuit
breakers with poles connected in a series.
When connecting the MCB ETIMAT DC man must pay
attention to polarity.
If connected in a wrong way, the MCB can be destroyed.
You cannot use two 1-pole MCBs instead of one 2-pole MCB. |

For today's customers building machines for use throughout the world, the new Bulletin 1489 helps with compliance for the varied circuit protection requirements. The Bulletin 1489 line is listed for branch circuit applications in the United States and Canada and approved as a miniature circuit breaker for IEC applications.
Designed to meet North American and IEC standards the 1489 product line provides a variety of configurations with current ranges of 0.5 A to 40 A and voltage ranges of 240V AC and 480Y/277V AC. The 1489 circuit breakers also have a DC rating: 1-pole 48V DC and 2-pole 96V DC series. This versatility can reduce engineering costs, save time for OEMs, panel builders and end users and can help meet safety standards.
In North America, the Bulletin 1489 meets UL 489 and CSA 22.2 No. 5.1 standards for branch circuit protection as well as IEC 60 947-2 requirements for miniature circuit breakers used in international industrial applications. To address the needs of equipment protection that are installed in electrical control panels, the new device helps with the equipment protection circuit formally only associated with UL 1077. It provides users with circuit protection from 0.5 amps to 40 amps and up to 480 volts.
For ease of installation a series of 1489 busbars (80 A) are now available, certified to UL489. These busbars are available in: single phase, two phase, and three phase versions.
As circuit protection standards evolve to meet application demands, Bulletin 1489 gives users a safer, reliable option that protects personnel, equipment and facilities from electrical hazards. |

Product summary:
The PROBLOC BS(R) 100 (1+1) series of over voltage surge protective devices has been developed to protect against partial direct and indirect lightning discharges and is intended to provide protection in zones 0A - 1 as per IEC 62305. The (1 1) range is intended to be used on TT single phase networks, where N to PE galvanic isolation is required. The circuit topology consists of one varistor stage protected by two thermal disconnection devices. Each unit comprises two high performance varistor blocks. A high energy encapsulated air gap (GDT) provides galvanic separation between the N and PE conductors. |

ETITEC over voltage arresters are intended for protection of electrical installations and devices against overvoltage
effects, which may occur in atmospheric discharges and switching overvoltages. The main part of overvoltage arrester
is ZnO non - linear varistor. Its main characteristic is ohmic non-linearity, which depends strongly on the applied
voltage at the clamps. All arresters have modular construction, a special feature is interchanging varistor part and
visual signalization for varistor thermical failure. The signalization is made with red flag, which appeares when failure
occurs. The models with RC mark equipped with auxiliary contacts for signalization. |

Residual current circuit breakers EFI are used for protection against indirect touching of parts under voltage, for
prevention of lasting voltage on earthed parts which should appear because of a defect in the electrical installation
and for protection against direct contacts of parts under voltage in case of I < 30mA. Residual current circuit breakers
can be used in TN-S, TN-C, TT and IT network systems or with other words in all systems where neutral and protective
conductor are separated (VDE 0100 Teil 410).
Types - Our programme comprises residual current circuit breakers which are sensitive to alternating residual current
(AC-type) and residual current circuit breakers which are sensitive to alternating and pulsating direct current (A-type). |

The modular lightning protectors of type OF ensure the protection of the electric systems against overpressures being able to appear on their feeding circuit per (effect of the lightning), or of operation stormy weather of coupling on the network (industrial parasites).
Protection is ensured thanks to a spark-gap strong capacity of flow, able to run out with the ground a current of 150 kA without suffering damage.
This module associated with models DGV, makes it possible to constitute a very effective protection in mode common mode differential according to the wiring diagram "C2" of guide UTE 15-443 (still called "3 1").
The lightning protector OF is used for protection upstream of the networks single-phase currents or three-phase particularly exposed (lightning protector of the type 1). It is installed with the TGBT of the installation. It is exclusively intended to be cabled between neutral (NR) and ground (EP) in partnership with lightning protectors DGV, connected to them-even between phase and neutral.
