These fuse links are intended to protect high-voltage distribution networks and transformers according to the International Standard IEC 60282-. They are of current-limiting type and for indoor as well as outdoor use.
The line is made by:
· Back-up fuse links with or without CPD (Controlled Power Dissipation),
· General Purpose type fuse links.
The line lies between 3/7.2 kV and 20/36 kV of rated voltage.
Two ranges exist in this line :
· International range complying with IEC 60282-1,
· German range complying with IEC 60282-1 (VDE 0670 T4) as well as VDE 0670 T402.
The Controlled Power Dissipation (CPD) from Ferraz Shawmut is driven par power dissipation and not only by temperature. While operating faster, it avoids high temperatures especially in SF6 switchgear. The mechanism of the CPD actuates the ‘medium’ type striker of the fuse link. In that case a combination with a switch is required.

EJO-1 9F62 General Purpose
General Purpose current-limiting fuses are designed to interrupt the high-fault currents and also the low-fault currents down to approximately 1.6 times their continuous current rating. This fuse is defined in the IEEE Std C37.40 -1993 (3.1.57) as "A fuse capable of interrupting all currents from the rated interrupting current down to the current that causes melting of the fusible element in no less than one hour." These fuses can be used outdoors without any protecting enclosure.

NV KOMBI advantages
ETI is introducing a new generation of low-voltage fuse-links from size NV00C up to to NV3 with new, dual indication
of fuse-link operation, called KOMBI. The indicator is easily visible on the top and centre of the fuse link, whether it is
situated in a standard fuse base or vertical fuse rail or in fuse-switch disconnector.
The most important advantages of NV/NH KOMBI fuse-links:
- High breaking capacity, 120 kA
- Rated voltages: 400V a.c., 500 Va.c., 690V a.c. and 1000V a.c and up to 440V d.c. In case of use in d.c. voltages,
consultation with ETI technical team is recommended.
- Two versions of covers: aluminium, when the removal tag is under voltage and plastic, when insulated metal

SMD FUSES FF 470
The Bussmann SMD Tron is designed to EIA-PD-100, DWG SOPM-7243.
A high temperature body material is capable of surviving a 60 second exposure to a temperature of 215°C. Because the SMD Tron is totally sealed, it can be subjected to cleaning by a wide variety of aggressive solvents.
PICOFUSES PF 257
The PF 257 fuses are designed to safely interrupt 50A at 125V ac. This excellent performance is achieved at power factors as low as 97%. Competitive components claim similar short circuit interrupting ratings, but at 100% power factor - a condition that rarely exists in real world applications. In addition PF 257 fuses are capable of interrupting a 300A fault at 125V.
MICROFUSES FF 785
At 250V ac, the 0.5 to 3A PC-TRON can safely interrupt 50A; at 125V ac, the 0.5 to 5A versions can interrupt 10.000A.
This high breaking capacity makes the PC-TRON subminiature fuse ideal for line-side protection of power supplies.
CYLINDRICAL FUSES CT 515
5x15mm glass fuses are available with axial leads. The fuse is available with an optional sleeve of flexible fluoropolymer (UL flammability rating VW-1). The tube will self-extinguish within one minute. |
