General overview
Zarlink's Timing-over-Packet (ToP) technology enables accurate timing and synchronization to be distributed across asynchronous packet infrastructures, allowing carriers to con#dently support time-critical services over packet networks.
The patent-pending ZL30301/2 ToP family is built on a processing engine and software solution that encodes and transmits a master clock over existing Ethernet, IP and MPLS networks, and recovers the clock at client nodes.
With Zarlink's ToP devices, Carriers can lower operating costs by migrating to a truly converged network supporting time-critical services, including voice, video and data services. In some applications, ToP technology replaces GPS receivers and T1/E1 connections that are traditionally required to ensure accurate synchronization.

PCI & PCI Express Connectivity
Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) is an interconnection system between a microprocessor and attached devices. PCI devices are found in two forms. One, in which the PCI IC is incorporated directly onto a motherboard. This is also known as a planar device. Second, is when the IC is integrated onto an PCI device card that will attach to a PCI slot connected to a motherboard.
MosChip's PCI bridge chips provide OEMs low cost solutions for developing products that bring single and multi-channel Parallel, UART and Serial devices to the market place.
PCI Express (PCI-e) is an interconnection system, based on the PCI standard, between a microprocessor and attached devices for high-speed operation. The electrical and mechanical interfaces of PCI-e are not compatible with the PCI bus interface. This bus also provides a high speed 2.5GBs data rate.
Our family of PCI-e bridge chips will integrate Parallel, Serial and USB 2.0 /3.0 interfaces into scalable devices that OEM designers can bring to market in record times with low overall costs to market

The FX/MX102 is a single-chip device to extract single periodic signals from very high random-noise environments.
Using patented autocorrelation techniques the MX102 will enhance the input signals signal-to-noise ratio by as much as 8.5dB and provide a digital output signal centered at four times (x4) the input frequency.
The amplitude of non-periodic components of the signal is substantially reduced. The patented autocorrelator compares the incoming signal to itself; the more elements of the waveform that are seen as periodic, the higher the energy at the microcircuit output.
The FX/MX102 cascades two autocorrelators, each one improving the signal-to-noise ratio.

The TH8080 is a physical layer device for a single wire data link capable of operating in applications where high data rate is not required and a lower data rate can achieve cost reductions in both the physical media components and in the microprocessor which use the network. The TH8080 is designed in accordance to the physical layer definition of the LIN Protocol Specification, Rev. 1.3 and 2.0 and SAE J2602.The IC furthermore can be used in ISO9141 systems.
Because of the very low current consumption of the TH8080 in recessive state it's suitable for ECU applications with hard standby current requirements, whereby no sleep/wake up control from the microprocessor is necessary.

General Description
The LVT16245 and LVTH16245 contain sixteen non-inverting bidirectional buffers with 3-STATE outputs and is intended for bus oriented applications. The device is byte controlled. Each byte has separate control inputs which can be shorted together for full 16-bit operation. The T/R# inputs determine the direction of data flow through the device. The OE# inputs disable both the A and B ports by placing them in a high impedance state.
The LVTH16245 data inputs include bushold, eliminating the need for external pull-up resistors to hold unused inputs.
These non-inverting transceivers are designed for low-voltage (3.3V) VCC applications, but with the capability to provide a TTL interface to a 5V environment. The LVT16245 and LVTH16245 are fabricated with an advanced BiCMOS technology to achieve high speed operation similar to 5V ABT while maintaining low power dissipation.
Features
- Input and output interface capability to systems at 5V VCC

General description :
The Intersil ISL324xE devices are 2.7V to 3.6V powered RS-232 transmitters/receivers which meet ElA/TIA-232 and V.28/V.24 specifications, even at VCC = 3.0V. Additionally, they provide ±15kV ESD protection (IEC61000-4-2 Air Gap and Human Body Model) on transmitter outputs and receiver inputs (RS-232 pins). Targeted applications are POS systems, and notebook and laptop computers where the low operational, and even lower standby, power consumption is critical. Efficient on-chip charge pumps, coupled with manual and automatic power-down functions, reduce the standby supply current to a 0.5µA trickle. Tiny 5mmx5mm Quad Flat No-Lead (QFN) packaging and the use of small, low value capacitors ensure board space savings as well. Data rates greater than 250kbps are guaranteed at worst case load conditions.
ISL324xE are 3 driver, 5 receiver devices that, coupled with the 5x5 QFN package, provide the industry's smallest, lowest power complete serial port. The 5x5 QFN requires 60% less board area than a 28 Ld TSSOP, and is nearly 20% thinner. These devices also include a noninverting always-active receiver for "wake-up" capability.
The ISL3243E features an automatic powerdown function that powers down the on-chip power supply and driver circuits. This occurs when an attached peripheral device is shut off or the RS-232 cable is removed, conserving system power automatically without changes to the hardware or operating system. It powers up again when a valid RS-232 voltage is applied to any receiver input.
