The new products are low-profile, RS-232C serial communication boards compliant with PCI Express. The board can expand asynchronous RS-232C serial communication ports on a PC with a PCI Express compliant slot. The board is available in three models different in the number of on-board RS-232C serial communication ports: 1-channel type "COM-1C-LPE", 2-channel type "COM-2C-LPE", and 4-channel type "COM-4C-LPE".
The three new models support high-speed communication at up to 921,600 bps. The bundled driver software can be used for Windows and Linux to recognize the on-board ports as OS's standard COM ports, allowing them to be set as COM1 to COM256. The board has high-capacity FIFO buffer memory: 128-byte transmit buffer and 128-byte receive buffer. The FIFO buffer memory can be adjusted in buffer size for starting data transmission/reception. You can optimize the buffer size for each application, for example by increasing the buffer size to reduce the CPU load or decreasing it to improve realtimeness.

With the PCI board APCI-3701 from Addi-Data the user can acquire up to 16 inductive displacement transducers of the type LVDT or Half-Bridge directly with a precision of
0.1 µm according to the transducer type. Now the board is also available as 1-channel version, and is delivered with the calibration and update tool SET3701. The new unique calibration tool SET3701 is divided in two parts: In the first one, the administration area, boards and transducers are selected and in the second one, the calibration part, the transducers have micro-calibration. In the administration part the installed boards of the type APCI-3701 are recognised automatically. In the board firmware 14 common transducers with all parameters are already available. The user also can select pre-calibrated transducers or just add customer-specific transducers. The assistant, with integrated help-file, supports the user step by step. After the calibration a board test is possible: For each channel a window with a graphic opens, which reflects all acquired data. The standard delivery also includes programming samples for LabView, Delphi, C, VB, etc. |

These new boards are compatible with L Series PCI board products and feature high-precision 16 bit analog input and output, digital I/O and a industrial counter function. Other than their bus interface, these new boards share the same specifications as existing L series PCI products allowing applications to be easily transferred through hardware setting changes. External pin assignment and connectors manufacturers are also the same allowing the user to use existing cabling.

IPnexus® CPC5900 High-Performance IP Storage Blade
The CPC5900 is designed for embedded storage applications. NAS applications such as file serving, data caching and shared storage can be provided by NFS or SAMBA services. Database applications are supported via iSCSI for block-level storage access. With its onboard PowerPC processor, the CPC5900 can also be used as an application server where disk intensive services are required, allowing payload blades in the platform to operate without a locally attached hard drive, increasing system reliability and capabilities.
The CPC5900 is a high-performance, high availability NAS or SAN storage blade solution for CompactPCI®, PICMG® 2.16 systems supporting 800GB of storage. Each storage blade features two 3.5" enterprise-class SATA hard drives with board-level hot-swap and drive-level hot-swap for complete flexibility, high reliability and high storage capacity. The onboard high-performance PowerPC® processor operates on Performance Technologies' NexusWare® CGL 3.2 registered/ POSIX compliant Linux development environment. Block Disk I/O is supported over iSCSI for SAN applications and FIle I/O is supported using NFS and SAMBA for NAS applications. Network connectivity is provided by dual Gigabit network ports connected to the PICMG 2.16 Ethernet port on the backplane.

The M671 is a new ETX CPU module designed by SECO, paying attention to customers requiring very high performances.
The module is based on the Pentium® M CPU up to 1.8 GHz frequency, with Chipset Intel® 855GME (Intel® 852GME on the CM 600 MHz version) and front side bus at 400 MHz. The chipset has an integrated 2D/3D graphic controller, supporting AGP4x interface.
An important feature in this module is the LVDS interface at 18bit Single and Dual Channel.
The module integrates also Audio, Ultra-ATA/100 IDE interface, 1 Ethernet 10/100 BaseT, 4 USB 2.0 ports, 2 Full modem serial ports, 1 standard parallel, keyboard/mouse controllers, Real Time Clock and Watch Dog Timer.

| Cambridge Technologys EC1000 is the next generation in galvo-steered laser control systems. This compact, fully integrated dual system-on-a-chip (SoC) control system is ideal for deployment into modern factory environments with distributed automation. In this environment, a single host computer can supervise a factory of networked laser marking appliances. The new SLC-8550-LVA is the 5-inch bay sized (203mm×145mm) CPU board and is a lead-free and RoHS-compliant product. This CPU board supports the Intel 855GME + ICH4 chipset and is compatible with 1.6G-2.0GHz (FSB400MHz) Intel Pentium M processor and 1.3G-1.5GHz (FSB400MHz) Intel Celeron M processor. The main memory complies with PC2700 DDR SDRAM (supports both ECC and non-ECC memory) and is able to contain up to 1 GB.
