QUIETSHIELD™ EMI/RFI Gaskets maintain shielding effectiveness (SE) across a seam or gap in the electronic equipment's shielding material. They consist of metalized fabric wrapped around a neoprene elastomer core. This provides a low cost solution, which allows you to utilize many material combinations and product designs never before practical. QUIETSHIELD™ gaskets provide unique solutions to your most stringent shielding, grounding, ESD and packaging requirements. It's the cost-effective avenue for creativity in design. Profile gaskets are currently available in four shapes: 'D', 'R', 'L', and 'P'. Spectrum's proprietary manufacturing method for making profile shielding gaskets is also ideally suited to custom profiles. New shapes and sizes can be manufactured with minimal lead times and low tooling costs. Changes can be easily made to the rubber core material, type of fabric or foil covering, and adhesive systems. Shielding specialists are at your disposal to help you with your custom designs. These specialists use design for manufacturability concepts to produce designs which meet your specific requirements at a reasonable cost.

Electromagnetic interference (EMI) can be described as any type of electrical interference, signal or noise, which temporarily or permanently effects the ability of electrical or electronic equipment or systems to function correctly. This phenomenon is familiar to everyone, even if we do not have a fundamental understanding of (EMI) principles.
Most people have witnessed and experienced the effects of interference whilst watching television when someone nearby is operating an electrical device. An other well know president is the mobile phone which disturbs the electronic equipment on board of aircrafts.
This interference, which is also referred to as Radio Frequency Interference (RFI), is active throughout the environment. Its effects can vary from distorting
electrical measurements, activating equipment at random (Health & Safety Issue), creating severe disruption of testing, communications, data handling, medical and defence activities.
ELDON’s Approach to shielding Enclosures
Eldon wants to offer their customers an EMC enclosure, which is designed to provide the best possible screening effectiveness, with built-in, long-term reliability and at a cost effective price.

Electronic equipment with various types of indicative performance or viewing devices, such as digital read-outs or displays, may require protection from radiated electrical energy (EMI/RFI). Typical applications include EMI/RFI shielding for electronic displays and enclosures used in medical, avionic, telecommunication, military and industrial equipment.
These unique windows are designed to enhance clarity in viewing while, at the same time, introduce a high degree of shielding to prevent equipment damage due to impinging radiated electrical energy. Transmittance, conductivity, and image quality can be adjusted or tuned to fit the needs of specific applications.
Metex offers a wide range of custom-shielded optical windows for displays requiring EMI radiation or susceptibility shielding to meet military, TEMPEST or NSA specifications. Our Shielded Windows have been designed into commercial and military equipment to provide highly effective electromagnetic shielding while providing exceptional optical clarity and resolution. |

Enclosure shielding :
GETELEC proposes, for the shielding of telecom base stations as well as all types of enclosures, a large range of isolating and conductive gaskets. These gaskets are proposed with adhesive film and vulcanized in the angles to allow rapid mounting. Sections are hollow to allow adequate compression of the gasket without deteriorating your enclosures. The materials proposed are nickel graphite, carbon and metallized fiber.
We can define and produce the adequatesection according to your enclosure specifications. Please contact us for availability of existing profiles.
