The P0NSSE Wisent is the answer to the wishes of the whole wood supply chain. Created to meet the needs of our customers and partners, the P0NSSE Wisent follows in the footsteps of the legendary P0NSSE S15 as a trailblazer in terms of both lightness and manoeuvrability.
The P0NSSE Wisent ushers in a new era in short-distance timber transport. Pressure on the ground is minimal, thanks to its unbeatable ratio of net weight to load-carrying capacity, the smallest turning radius in its size class, and dimensions which distribute the load evenly over all the wheels.
The tough Mercedes-Benz diesel engine now runs a larger pump than before, which in turn enables versatile and efficient loader use. Thanks to the Wisent's strong tractive force and outstanding cross-terrain properties, moving loads is fast and flexible. Moreover, the cab's superior ergonomics provide a pleasant work environment for even the most demanding user.

The Buffalo is equipped with durable bogie axles and wide balloon tyres. Its weight distribution across eight tyres lowers the ground pressure and reduces ground damage. This, combined with the Buffalo's excellent manoeuvrability, also makes it a good choice for thinning sites.
The Buffalo's strong K90 loader provides massive force for loading. The construction of the K90 loader is based on technical solutions which have proven reliable through the years. Its 10 metre reach and seamless control increase the machine's productivity. The loader's strength is especially suitable for work on sloping terrain and for processing large trunks.
In the design of the Buffalo, particular attention has been paid to the cooling and filtering of the hydraulic oil. A dedicated pump provides a continuous cooling and filtering cycle for the hydraulic oil, regardless of machine movements. Thanks to this system, the oil is kept extremely clean and the temperature remains optimal under all conditions. Minimising pressure loss throughout the system lowers fuel consumption even more.

The P0NSSE Gazelle, following in the tracks of its big brother the Wisent, now brings the most advanced forwarder technology on the market to the smaller, 10-tonne size class. The P0NSSE Gazelle's efficiency and reliability are based on smart use of the newest materials, highest-quality components and today's most sophisticated manufacturing technology. The Gazelle's compact and agile appearance hides the power within: Its efficient four-cylinder Mercedes-Benz diesel engine, powerful K70+ loader and large tractive force, combined with the modern OptiControl™ integrated control system, guarantee a level of effectiveness unprecedented in this size class.
Respect for Nature
The low net weight, tight turning radius, optimally shaped bunks and balanced weight distribution of the P0NSSE Gazelle mean that even harvesting sites with the most fragile natural environment can be treated gently and respectfully. The stable base machine and powerful loader also help the operator harvest wood from the maximum reach without harming the standing timber. Environmental friendliness can be viewed as one of the defining features of the Gazelle.

Able to carry nearly its own weight in wood, the 18-tonne BuffaloKing offers its operator a luxurious cab, the powerful P0NSSE K100 loader, ample load space, an efficient and powerful Mercedes-Benz engine and a sturdy structure ready for the most demanding wood harvesting conditions.
The BuffaloKing is based on the P0NSSE Buffalo forwarder and its well-received, reliable technical solutions. This larger machine with 18-tonne load bearing capacity is built to be dependable and efficient without unnecessary extra weight. The extremely strong rear bogie receives most of the load's weight. Broad rear tyres with ample air space distribute the load weight evenly on varying terrain's, which means that ground contact pressure remains low even with heavy loads.
The BuffaloKing's hydraulics capacity has been increased more than 30% from that of the traditional Buffalo. Combined with the new, powerful K100 loader and the smart OptiControl control system, this offers the utmost efficiency and cost effectiveness, across the full length of its maximum reach of 9.5 metres. This machine has an impressive tractive force of 21 tonnes. Its similarity to the Buffalo guarantees easy parts availability and serviceability.

The environmentally friendly 10-wheeled forwarder concept meets the modern challenges of effectiveness and respecting the environment. The objective of the "Beating the challenge of peat land timber harvesting using conventional machines" project was to create a simple and reliable forest machine that leaps to a whole new level of environmental friendliness by introducing soft terrains with poor carrying capacity into the sphere of the forest economy.
The purpose of the co-operation project between Ponsse Oyj, Metsähallitus and Metla was to look for practical solutions that can be used to increase timber harvesting on peat soil when the soil is not frozen using machinery that is in general use. The development issues included:
1) equipping forest machines for soft soil,
2) adapting working with a machine to soils with poor carrying capacity,
3) developing on the design, and
4) improving the preconditions of wood harvesting companies.
The project included extensive testing in the terrain to compare the various track solutions. The track models to be tested were manufactured by Metsätyö Oy.

Tigercat builds four innovative forwarder models ranging incapacity from 12-20 tonne capacity. The 20 tonne 1075 is the industry's highest capacity forwarder. All Tigercat forwarders are designed and built for extreme duty applications.
Tigercat forwarders offer a number of advantages over competing machines, including tough construction, excellent cooling capacity and better stability when traveling and loading.
With Tigercat's unique centre section design, the 1065 and 1075 models do not require oscillation locks. All Tigercat forwarders are extremely stable and this allows the operator to reach out and pick up a load of logs while the machine in still in motion. This contributes to significant productivity gains. Other forwarder brands must have the oscillation lock in place in order to reach out over the side of the machine. When the oscillation lock is engaged the machine cannot travel and productivity decreases.

The TimberPro TF 830, TF 840 and TF 810 are the most versatile wheeled machines in the world today. The TimberPro line of machines come standard with 360° continuous rotation allowing the operator to always face his/her work. This feature also gives the operator the ability to remove
timber from 360° around the machine. Including the option to work over the front of the machine just as well as the sides and rear. TimberPro
machines have been proven effective in many other applications other than forwarding logs in the forest. Our machines can be used to move logs in mill yards, set mats in the pipeline industry, and most importantly as a combo machine equipped with a quick detach boom to allow conversion from a forwarder to a harvester in about 10 minutes.
