Airpot products offer the following benefits over other pneumatic piston /cylinder based motion control devices:
• They have unparalleled low friction, responding to forces as low as only a few grams and pressures less than 0.2 psi.
• Starting and running friction are almost identical, preventing jerky, uncontrolled starts and providing uniform smoothness throughout the full stroke of the device.
• They are unaffected by extreme temperature variations
• They run clean and do not contaminate surrounding components.
• No seals are required, and there are no liquids to leak.
• They are made of self-lubricating materials.
• They can withstand exceedingly high cycle rates. They do not heat up or change viscosity under conditions of rapid and/or continuous cycling
• They have a life-span of multi-millions of cycles. They will commonly outlast the machines in which they are used.
• The piston and cylinder will not rust, corrode, or deteriorate over time, even with little or no use over extended intervals.
• They are precise and accurate
• They can be customized easily to suit special space, mounting, and performance requirements |

Suspension Spring
The Suspension springs are designed to provide a maintenance free flexible load bearing component allowing angular and shear movement whilst transmitting high axial loads. There is also a built in fail-safe device to prevent total mount failure in the case of severe overload. |
|
| The Single Gap Joint RS type construction consists of two heavy steel edge profiles with anchor brackets and a replaceable elastomeric sealing element. |

The main typical characteristics of the JARRET friction damper are :
Low sensitivity of the friction force at the working temperature (-200°C / + 200°C)
Low sensitivity at the working velocity (F " C*V a, a"0.2 at RT and a"0.01 at -196°C)
Capability to work under very short stroke (from some hundredths mm)
Width frequency range, from 0 to a few hundred Hz,
Capability to work under high working velocity (up to 100 m/s)
No pressure, no risk of explosion due to a high pressure
No fluid, no risk of leakage
Low mass |

Suitable for machinery and equipment which produce low frequency vibrations. Springs of different power can be combined in order to obtain the whole range of loads using the desired number of springs.
Available in several sizes.
TM and TA series are the best solution as ceiling sustainers. |

Many often-primary suspensions of steel coil springs type are preferably used between wheel axle boxes and bogie due to the relatively long travel and the relatively small stiffness provided.
Coil springs have the disadvantage in transversal to accept only small forces.
So the resilient horizontal support in driving direction must be transversally taken over by further construction units.
In addition, metallic coil springs do not filter Vibrations and impact sound as well.Isolation by means of a rubber layer spring brings noticeable improvements.
Due to the lake of space conditions in the regional trains, which is smaller than the long-distance rail, the complete Primary spring system should be arranged as compact as possible. These requirements fulfill the GMT- primary spring system.
The serviceability of the construction was proven by a life durability test

GMT-rolling rubber-springs are vibration dampening elements consisting of a rubber ring, a tapering metal pin and a metal housing . Their metal parts and the rubber ring are not bonded together by vulcanisation.
Roller-springs are used for dampening vibrations in rail vehicles. The characteristics of roller-springs can be varied as required within their permissible capacity.

ACE's expanded line of compact rotary dampers promotes smooth mechanical motion that enhances functionality and provides that touch of quality. Additional benefits include increased operational safety and component life, as well as noise reduction.
Rotary dampers minimize kinetic energy by controlling velocity. Designs are available utilizing viscous shear, vane with orifice or piston types, in addition to a locking damper. Models are available as single or bidirectional, continuously rotating or single rotating. Other options include: with or without gears, latching or unlatching, and fixed or adjustable.
Selected applications for rotary dampers include: computer hardware, flip top cell phones, compact disc units, video cameras, tape players, automotive compartment panels, seats, aerospace and medical equipment, furniture, safety covers and machine guards. |
|
These imaginative and practical units ensure a controlled opening and closing of small lids, trays and drawers with braking torques of 0.05 Ncm to
40 Nm.
The Rotary dampers are often used to protect delicate parts e.g. in CD-player-inserts, copiers, furniture, toilet lids, return valves and a multitude of other applications.
Maintenance free, self-contained rotary dampers are provided with outer bodies made of metal or plastic. They are available with fixed or adjustable
damping rates. The damping can be clockwise, anticlockwise or in both directions.
The output connection can be directly onto the shaft or via a gear. Rotary dampers with gears are available with 4 standard modules and we can deliver plastic racks to suit, as accessories.

| Extremely Fast Deliveries You Need- EFDYN! Since 1961 Efdyn has been a leader in the design and manufacture of industrial shock absorbers, bumpers and rotary dampers. Efdyn's rotary dampers are the heaviest duty rotary damper on the market. These dampers are used to steady drives, decelerate motion and dampen vibration. |

| Enidine's Rotary Viscous Dampers (RVD) provide smooth control in applications that require continuous or intermittent positioning, forward, reverse and fixed path motion. The RVD design combines low breakout friction with viscous damping to control bi-directional rotary motion in applications such as door hinges, rollers and access panels. Each RVD contains a solid, rotating element called a "rotor". This rotor is surrounded by a thick film of silicone fluid and sealed inside a stationary housing. The RVD's rotor provides resistance by shearing the silicone fluid, controlling the desired motion. |
|
Our range of rotary and axis dampers provide the white goods, audio & video entertainment, automotive and general electronics industries with a solution to dampening and providing controlled movement to give added value and functionality to the end user.
The rotary and axis dampers are available in different torques and different mounting methods such as screws, ultrasonically welded or snap mounts. |

Compactor Shearmount™
Metalastic Compactor™ shearmount for high compression loads whith low shear stiffness are suitable as suspension for Compactors and other off-highway vehicles. Can be loaded in compression or shear and the design allows a large difference between the compression and shear stiffness, thus providing the potential to tune a mounting system by rotating the mountings. |

| The AA series has been designed for loads from 10 to 6000 daN. One of its most important feature is the multidirectional reaction which guarantees an optimal response along all directions. Its high safety level prevents the detachment of the appliances even if the elastomers should be completely destroyed. It can be fixed either with two or four bolts. |

As a result of its interlocking loop construction-which couples resiliency with high damping characteristics and nonlinear spring rates-Metex knitted wire mesh offers unique properties for absorbing shock and vibration. Each loop acts as a small spring when subjected to compressive loads, and will immediately resume 90% of its original shape when the load is removed.
Knitted wire mesh can be used to provide mechanical support for the monolith element used in an exhaust system's catalytic converter. The wire mesh is used to support the monolith, compensate for the wide range of thermal expansion rates and protect the fragile ceramic honeycomb from the mechanical shocks associated with various driving conditions. |
