Oil vapour adsorption from compressed air and gases.
Oil aerosols down to a particle size of 0,01 micron can be removed by a ZANDER X grade Microfilter. Modern industry and process plants need compressed air free of oil vapour, which can only be removed effectively by a ZANDER oil vapour adsorber. Design and Operation:The ZANDER AKN activated carbon adsorber is filled with a special grade of activated carbon*1 for the removal of oil vapour from the top to bottom of the vessel. Thanks to an optimum contact time, velocity, bed depth and quality of activated carbon, the remaining oil content is reduced to 0,003 mg/m3. The quality of the air can be monitored by the oil indicator, which is fitted as standard. Experience has shown that a carbon life of 10,000 hours can be achieved, when a ZANDER X grade Microfilter is fitted up-stream. The exact life of the carbon depends on efficiency of the compressor specification, the type of oil used and the relative humidity of the compressed air.
Capacity from 8 m³/h up to 6100 m³/h, referred to 1 bar and 20° C. Residual oil content: up to 0.003 mg/3. Paint compatible units available!!!

The Defensor PH26 employs the evaporator principle. This specifically involves dry air coming into contact with a professional mat saturated with water, absorbing this water and then being emitted into the room air in a practically germ-free condition. Air is thus humidified both inexpensively and with a minimum energy requirement.
