Filter Bags
Pulse-Jet Bags
Standard Filter manufactures pulse-jet and plenum pulse filter bags. These bags use support cages to allow air flow from the exterior of the bag and exiting through the interior.
Shaker Bags
We provide a wide variety of filter bags for use in shaker type collectors. We manufacture bags from wovens and shakerfelts. Standard Filter's engineering department can recommend the media that will give you the performance you expect from your shaker unit.
Reverse-Air Bags
A wide variety of reverse air bag types can be designed and manufactured. Typical top designs are strap top, loop top, cord top cuff, compression band tops with steel caps or grommet top bags. Bottom designs can be raw edge, cuffed, compression band or beaded cuff.
Welded Seam Bags
Needle holes in the vertical seam of a filter bag can be a conduit for fine particulate bleed through. In order to give you the most efficient filter possible, Standard Filter can manufacture one piece welded filter tubes.

A full range of air cartridges, which comply with the stringent standards laid down by the companies in the field. These filtering elements are available both with standard filtering materials, as well as customized to meet specific customer requirements; using alternative materials such as polyester, microfibre, paper, stainless steel meshing etc.

These cartridges have been specifically designed for gas filtering purposes and are capable of retaining particles of up to 5 microns, with no loss of efficiency, even in damp conditions. The metallic parts are made of galvanized steel. The filter screen is made of Orlon or Nylon felt, with a large filtering surface so that the charge loss is minimal, and thereby ensuring the long life of the product, if used in a correct manner. These cartridges are used by all the leading Gas distribution Companies in order to protect the delicate plant appliances. All cartridge sizes are always kept in stock for prompt delivery. In addition to the shown sizes, we also produce cartridges having special dimensions and/or with non-standard filtering features, to meet customized requirements.

TURBOCARTRIDGE
Cartridge filter for systems turbogas.
Cartridges TURBOCARTRIDGE are constituted from a metallic chassis and a septum leaking in cellulose and synthetic fibers idrorepellente, in class of filtration second F7 EN 779. The chassis is planned in steel mesh and introduces a limited number of welding in order to avoid possible oxidations. The real advantages in the passage to cartridge TURBOCARTRIDGE are: better leaking efficiency, greater ability to I accumulate powders, minor loss of cargo, operating long-life and cost reduction of maintenance.

We'd like you to believe that our custom fabric filters will solve all the world's dust problems, .but there are some pieces of equipment designed to only use a cartridge filter. A pleated media provides a very large filter surface area within a compact package.
The advantage is that a filter doesn't take up much volume in the workspace. Commercial air intakes and vents work well with this type of filter. Working with many custom and off-the-shelf suppliers, we can easily cross-reference virtually any product or modify a design to solve specific problems. Please use our printable PDF Spec Sheet to note your filter's construction style, critical dimensions, gaskets, rings, etc. and we'll take it from there.
The cartridge's disadvantage is that large amounts of (wood, flour, etc.) dust can quickly fill in the pleats and essentially block all airflow. Small wood shop collectors that collect dust inside the cartridge are a case in point. High replacement costs and tedious maintenance regimens have led more than one user to modify their collector to use our filter bags. We'd be glad to help you make the comparison.

Menardi's new Deep Pleat Cartridges increase effective filter area significantly over conventional pleated synthetic media. Deeper pleats are allowable thanks to our patented MikroBoss™ media which prevents collapsing of pleats under operating pressure. This unique design uses staggered dimpling on the filtering side which, unlike other dimpling patterns, provides unrestricted air flow and pulse cleaning at the extreme ends of the pleats.
MikroBoss is available in spunbond and spunlaid polyester and polypropylene,as well as our Mikrotex® PTFE membrane, Aramid, and antistatic (aluminized) media.

Alco Metal Mount Frames are a fabricated EMI aluminum frame gaskets. Metal Mount Frames have a mesh and or elastomer gasket secured into the groove or outside edge of the extrusion. Alco-Knit Gaskets are supplied in standard wire alloys in several configurations and size to meet specific shielding requirements. Elastomer core gaskets may be applied for environmental pressure sealing. Alco Metal Mount Frames are fabricated with specific hole size, location, slots and countersinks for alignment. Ready-to-mount frames are attached to other surfaces using rivets, fasteners or spot welded in place. Frames are supplied unfinished or Chromate Coated per MIL-C-5541 Class 1or 3 to enhance shielding performance and corrosion resistance. Alco Metal Mount Frames are fabricated to customer drawings.

SAAFOxidant gas removal chemical media is designed to efficiently remove 99.5% of specific gaseous contaminants from the airstream. Target contaminants include sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, nitric oxide, formaldehyde, and lower molecular weight aldehydes and organic acids.
SAAFOxidant engineered media is composed of a combination of activated alumina and other binders. Potassium permanganate, an oxidizing agent, is applied to the media uniformly during pellet formation and is distributed throughout the pellet volume to promote optimal performance.
The SAAFOxidant chemisorptive process removes contaminant gases by adsorption, absorption and chemical reaction. In this process the gas is trapped and oxidized within the pellet, changing the gases into harmless solids while eliminating desorption. SAAFOxidant's engineering allows this to be an instantaneous, irreversible, and safe chemical reaction.
SAAFOxidant media is effective in commercial and industrial systems, withstanding velocities up to 500 FPM. The media operates at -4°F to 125°F (-20°C to 51°C) under 10- 95% relative humidity (RH).

Glass Fibre Filter Media
The ACS glass fibre media are manufactured using computer controlled spunbonded technology producing media, that are of consistent high quality with a progressive density and high dust holding capacity with very low initial pressure loss.
