In the perfume and aroma industries there has been no satisfactory solution up until now for the accurate mixing of substances in powder form. When powders clot or form dust, this can lead to weighing errors, blocked valves etc. resulting in frequent production downtimes. And this is not even including the problematic conditions for safety at work due to the dust emissions.
With increasing frequency we were being asked by customers for powder dosing systems that would apply the dosing technology know-how for which our company is renowned, since FRICKE systems were mainly developed up until now for use with liquid substances.
Thus, the FRICKE PD1 powder dosing system was especially designed for use with the powders of the perfume and aroma industries. The system is equipped with a 4 kg scale (dissolution per 1 mg) and automates the production of 20 powder components.
The powders are stored in tightly sealed stainless steel containers with a 10 litre capacity. The containers can be equipped with different dosing elements and agitators according to the various powder characteristics. This allows a clot-free as well as dust-free processing of the powders - neither personnel nor machine systems are subjected to emissions.

The design incorporates an anti 'bridging' devise to ensure uniterrupted flow.

Winnow with diaphragm MUCON
A range supplements valves with diaphragm for the powders and the powders, with models for all industries.
The diaphragm is out of fabric or rubber. Only a column of product rests on the diaphragm and the unit is very robust.
The closing of the diaphragm is soft and does not damage the conveyed products (ideal for the gélules, compressed, confectioneries etc...).
These valves are completely tight and have a compactness.
Thanks to the concentric closing of the diaphragm, the flow could be controlled and a proportioning could be carried out. Diameter 50mm with 450mm according to model. Hand drive operation, motorized electric or pneumatic. Material: aluminum or stainless steel.

The patented Vortex® Iris Valve is designed specifically to handle dry bulk solids in gravity discharge of free-flowing material from bins, bulk bags, chutes, and hoppers.
Traditional iris valves rely on plastic components to actuate the valve that can easily break during use. Working Principle
Product falls in the delumper. The lumps are hit by the rotor knives and forced through a grid. The fines pass straight through the grid.

The tipping horizontal pressure tank O.ME.P.S. type CM 25 is manufactured of Peraluman 45 R light alloy to transport powdery foodstuff (flour) for a total capacity of 25 m3. It is tested at 2 bar pressure according to the standard PED 97/23/CE.
The vertical discharge system is equipped with:
n° 03 load manholes with 3 wing nuts’ closing;
atoxic and polyvalent unloading system;
n° 1 aluminium bottom for the product unloading, complete of butterfly valve, Ø 150 mm;

Process-technical processes again and again require individual adaptation to the requirements of the product and the surrounding system. To meet these requirements flexibly and creatively is a challenge for us, as builders of machines and systems. Our references indicate success in vibration technology over the past 60 years. The list of the applications here extends from plastics, chemical basic materials and fertilizers, through food such as rice nuts, chips, vitamins, flavor additives and vegetable, up to hot iron oxide at 800°C.

Loading spout for open truck
The loading spout for tank trucks is made of 2 ducts: a central one to transfer the product from the silo to the truck and an external one to collect dust emissions. According to the applications, the central duct can be different: flexible duct, mild steel cones or telescopic tubes.
The lower part of the loading spout will inch up progressively as required, so as to properly load the product into an open truck or directly on the ground (as required by the application).
A command and control cabinet ensures an automatic loading that complies with normal security requirements ie : motor overheating, automatic lifting, etc...

BELLOJET® ZC Loading Bellows are used for efficient dust controlled discharging of dry, dusty bulk solids into open lorries / trucks. The spouts are provided with inner tapered cones to contain the flow of material and an outer double bellow to provide for dust removal.

Mobile Truck Lance
Series 616
The Mobile Truck Lance by Dynamic Air Inc. is specifically designed to be inserted into a standard "Sea Bulk Powerliner" so it can be filled with dry bulk granular materials quickly, easily and safely. The mobile truck lance has the ability to not only move forward and backward, but it can also raise upward or downward, as desired. This critical adjustment of the lance itself is necessary to meet the specific location of each and every truck which, dimensionally, may be different from time to time. The lance, made of stainless steel, is perforated to allow the bulk container to be filled to optimum capacity without having to move the lance from its original position after insertion. The mobile truck lance is mounted on a horizontal track and attached to a heavy-duty conveying hose and dust extraction line, so that everything operates together in a simple movement.

XP Bulk Material Loading Spouts
All Sly XP bulk material loading spouts have internal stacking cones to direct material flow. When used with a negative pressure dust collection system, it is truly dust-free. Applications include: truck, rail car, tote bin, flexible bulk containers, carton, and drum. In addition to the standard options found on the PV series, the XP bulk material loading spouts can be custom engineered to meet the most demanding load out environments requiring: explosion proof, abrasion resistant or stainless construction and many others.
Options to increase Sly XP bulk material loading spout performance include slack-cable limit switches, and the patented EZView™ lower weldment, which provides viewing ports that permit the spout operator to see the fill status without having to raise the spout above the loading point. This feature helps avoid spills as well as provides the necessary make-up air required for fugitive dust removal.

Fives Solios takes into account the whole process of handling all raw materials at the inlet of the anodes plant, as well as storing and unloading the pitch at the terminal.
Fives Solios equips the anodes plant with a station for unloading the coke destined to trucks equipped with automatic unloading "udders". It integrates the collection of dust and storage in daily coke silos.
