The plan bottom extractor EFP is suitable to extract both very difficult materials for their grade of fluidity and for the controlled feeding of pneumatic conveying lines. It is entirely built in stainless steel AISI 304. the charging hopper is cylindrical and it has vertical walls to assure a good materials descent. The extraction device is made by a couple of blades shaped to ease the material flow towards the outlet which is positioned at a side. The transmission is connected with plan bottom which is independent and can be dismantled from the rest of the machine with nuts, this allow the complete emptying of the machine and its entire the cleaning.

The batch IC and FIC™ extractors have been developed by GEA Niro to supply a unique equipment for production of high quality coffee extract for further processing in an instant coffee powder factory.
This extractor consists of a number of vertical percolator columns arranged in a battery. Each column – or vessel – is in turn filled with ground coffee beans, after which water at a predefined temperature is added. This process is in principle a batch process. By means of a valve manifold, the columns are inter-connected, and thereby the extraction process becomes continuous and counter-current, which gives an excellent quality of coffee extract, where it is possible to control the yield and quality of the aroma fraction.

The Smart Weigh Belt can be used as a feeder, batcher, or meter. By utilizing different control software, the Smart Weigh Belt can be used to feed material into a batch system. For inventory control or metering, the Smart Weigh Belt can be placed into a constant speed configuration to measure or totalize the amount fed into a process.
The Smart Weigh Belt offers gentle material handling, an important benefit compared to other feed devices like a screw feeder when handling the following materials:
Flakes (e.g. corn flakes, bran flakes, and wheat flakes)
Lumpy bulk solids (e.g. vegatables and fruits)
Shear sensitive materials (e.g. corn flakes, frozen vegetables and frozen fruits)

Fine dosing short-cut feeder is a good and economical solution for conditioning applications, when reduction of dosing time dosing is a must.
These feeders are controlled with motor rpm and outlet section of extractor. For batch process MCPI’s “Short-cut system” is a mechatronic solution which ensures a perfect control of the extractor movement with repeatability below 3/100 sec, to ensure quick and accurate feeding.
The very small overshoot value of these feeders, associated with a sharp control of extractor movement, are the main points to explain the so high level of performances in terms of dosing time and accuracy.
With the different versions of the range, all specific requirements get answers: With Fine dosing short-cut feeder it possible to reach very short dosing time (from 0.2 sec) and feeding quantities from 0.1 gram to many kilo grams.
Design of these feeders is made in agreement with drug and food industries requests for cleaning.

Bulk materials are frequently stored in hoppers and silos. To do different
environemental conditions and divers product caracteristics the discharge
and empting of such hoppers and silos can cause troubles.
On the market different discharge pads are offered. Gericke uses, beside of
its RA Bin Discharger and vibrating Bin Dischargers, aeration nozzles (flow
pad). This nozzles inject the 10 Nm3 air per hour and per nozzle in to the
hopper. By this measure the airflow fluidises the product and cleanes the
inside of the compartment.
The installation of the flow pad is very easy and simple just drill a hole
with diameter 53mm and fix the flow pad with 4 screws.
