The distinguishing feature of Vetter Mini Lifting Bags 8.0 bar/116 psi is the noiseless, jolt-free, and smooth lifting of the heaviest loads. They lift, push, press, prise and split, even on sloping surfaces. The surface profile improves grip on slippery ground such as grass, sand etetc.
They are produced in two versions. Both versions have a multi-layer construction which covers each side of the bag. This is either steelcord or aramide reinforcement. |
|
To be able to achieve a maximum lifting movement with only a minimum insertion space available, lifting bags are the appropriate tools to use. With 12 models, Holmatro has a lifting bag for every job. Thanks to their unique low profile edges the lifting bags can easily be inserted under all circumstances.
The deflated height of our lifting bags is 22 or 25 mm. Using compressed air (maximum 8 bar), the largest model, the HLB 67, reaches a maximum inflation height of 520 mm. Another feature of the lifting bags is their ability to adjust to the lifting surface. The applied pressure is divided over a large surface compared to the use of hydraulic jacks. |

ROUND LIFTING MAGNETS
Electromagnets are intended for lifting mechanisms to catch and shift the cold ferromagnetic loads: scrap metal, charge, cuttings, metal bars, pigs, slabs, etc.
These lifting electromagnets can operate on the traverse.
Electromagnets are recommended for installation on light and mobile excavators such as FUCHS, LIEBHERR, ATLAS, SENNEBOGEN, CAT, ZEPPELIN, KOVROVETS etc. complete with a generating control system and a special traverse that ensures the use of an electromagnet without removing the grab.
All electromagnets can be produced as heat-resistant (to lift loads of the temperature as high as 600°C) and for underwater works. |

Specifically designed to provide greater contact and holding strength on castings, forgings, plates and structural shapes.
Bi-Polar Lifting Magnets - Square
Especially deep field provides greater holding on steel coils, bundles of bar, re-bar, tubing or pipe.
Rectangular Lifting Magnets
Three standard models, and lengths from nine inches (229 mm) to 96 inches (2,438 mm), allow you to size the magnet to the job. Eriez' smallest single unit has a holding power (with no safety factor) of 1,860 (845 kg; the largest, 38.8 tons (35,240 kg).
Circular Lifting Magnets
Eriez circular lifting magnets are general-purpose magnets with many applications. |
|
The use of electro & permanent lifting magnets offers the following advantages:
- Speed, simplicity and the damage-free transport of workpieces of various
shapes and lengths.
- The possibility of precisely positioning the workpiece to be lifted
- Saving valuable storage space and manpower
All magnets can be supplied with electronic control. The control is equipped with an IGBT that switches the current to the magnets. Both voltage and current can be set at, for example, 80-100 and 120% for lifting, transport and compression.

The manual lifter of the MaxX Tecnomagnete series represent an ideal solution for moving ferrous loads in an economic, rapid and safe way.
RAPID
With the simple motion of a lever, the magnetism lifts, transports and releases the load with extreme rapidity, needing only a single operator. It does not compress or deform the load, rather, it allows plenty of motion even with limited spaces.
SAFE
Once activated, a spring-loaded device blocks the manoeuvring lever, thus preventing any possible accidental deactivation. The technique defined as neutral crown will not permit interference with the original state of the permanent magnets, thus allowing to obtain maximum results in terms of safety and reliability.
ECONOMIC
The Tecnomagnete manual lifters are based on the technology of permanent magnets, therefore do not need electrical feeding. They are resistant to usage: the only movable component present is a rotor which is centred on ball bearings. This in turn develops neither physical contacts nor any friction during the rotation phase. Within normal working conditions they can be “maintenance free” over a long period of time. |

CM-400, CM-800 TOTERS
The TOTER is a compact, self-contained, lifting magnet which uses permanent magnets that maintain holding power indefinitely. Within the steel housing are powerful ceramic magnets whose field is controlled by the "on-off" position of the handle. Because no electric power is required, TOTERS can operate completely free of the restriction of power cords, and can be used where electric power is not readily available.
Recommended Applications
Permanent lifting magnets require good surface conditions to achieve maximum lifting. The TOTER is ideally suited for in-plant handling, loading, and unloading machine tools, and is commonly found in industrial plants, machine shops and warehouses. When greater holding capacity is required, refer to our battery magnets or our circular electric magnets.
Rated Lift Capacity
The maximum rated lift is based upon lifting clean, smooth, flat, low-carbon steel plate, 1 1/2" or thicker with the full area of the magnet's lifting surface in contact with the load. Derating is required for plates with rust or scale, plates thinner than 1 1/2", and alloy steels. More detailed ratings are contained in the OPERATOR'S MANUAL AND SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS. |

Load Binders are frequently used in the offshore oil industry to secure loads on trucks at the dock and to secure material on the back deck of a vessel heading out to a platform or rig.
There are two types of binders found in the offshore environment, the Lever type load binder and the second the ratchet type load binder. Any tool can cause serious injury if not used properly.
Load binders are no exception. The ratchet type can increase the leverage or pull on the chain over a lever type. They are rated according to the size of chain for which they have been designed. The lever type has a mechanical advantage of 25 to one while the ratchet type has a mechanical advantage of 50 to one.

MAGVACU® COMBIGRIPPER
The MagVacu® combigripper uses a combination of magnetic and vacuum techniques for the handling of (perforated) sheet up to a thickness of 12 mm.
Re-tooling for different products is not necessary so that more types of products can be handled on unmanned machines. The Combigripper is also twice as powerful as, and safer than, conventional vacuum systems. The magnet pulls the steel plate onto the vacuum suction cup so that it fits neatly onto it. This means that no vacuum can leak away around the edge of the suction cup
The universal combigrippers can be used:
in automated processes on laser cutting machines
in press brakes and press transfer systems in
the car and sheet metal work automotive and plate processing industries

Save energy and cut costs
MPH offers the most advanced energy-saving transfer ladles available. It's a ladle capable of transferring molten metal relatively long distances while maintaining temperature. No standby heat source is required for preheating.
Energy efficient
The refractory combination employed in the construction of the ladle and the use of an insulated cover minimizes heat loss through the shell while hot metal is being transferred. This low heat loss results in the ability to actually lower the temperatures of the metal in the central melter.
Additional energy can be saved during standby, There is no need to use gas or electricity to keep the ladle hot. The refractory has excellent resistance to thermal shock.
Negligible metal loss
Since the ladle is never overheated, it does not generate any oxides. Metal losses are reduced since neither the central melter nor the holding furnaces need to make up for lost temperature.
Reduces downtime
When properly used, this ladle eliminates the need to wait for the holding furnace to "recover" temperature lost during hot metal transfer. Nor is it necessary to wait until the ladle is preheated before it can be used.
Low maintenance
In normal use, oxides do not adhere to the refractory walls or the ladle. It can be skimmed easily. The refractory can be patched easily when required. |

Space restrictions, a frequent concern in web installations, can often be overcome by turning the web to allow for stacked equipment. However, conventional turner bars or sweat rolls require physical contact which can damage the web surface and cause web creasing. MEGTEC offers a better solution - MEGTEC Air-turns.
MEGTEC Air-turns use a cushion of air to float the web as it is turned. No surface-to-surface contact is required. Productivity improves because marking and other contact-related defects are eliminated. Air-turns are a safe, effective and reliable method for changing web direction.
They can be designed to operate smoothly at web tensions as low as 0.25 PLI and as high as 5 PLI. The unit's lateral sectors permit selective air pressure adjustment across its entire width, allowing the air turn to compensate for cambered webs and uneven tensions. A sensor automatically adjusts supply air to maintain consistent web-to-surface clearance. The result: excellent transport with no drift or flutter.
