The brake system onboard a vehicle is vital for the safety of the vehicle. It is therefore important that the design of the vehicle and the design of the brake system are co-ordinated to give the optimal safety and good performance and that complements other modern cab ergonomics to reduce operator fatigue and give good machine feel.
The cocks may be used in open centre, closed centre and load sense hydraulic systems.
The high flow capability of the valve permit use with wet brakes, which typically require more flow for actuation.
Reduced mechanical drag and power loss by allowing the wet brake discs to be further apart when not applied.
A wide range of actuating forces can be specified, including stagemodulating springs for more progressive feel.
A floor-mounted pedal is available in a range of pre-set angles, with optional heel plates.
The valve may be mounted vertically or horizontally beneath the pedal.
Pressure reducing / relieving cocks can be used to reduce the pressure in a leg of the circuit lower than system pressure. The valve also acts as a relief valve, relieving any shocks or surges that occur between the regulated port and the actuator manufacturer. When the valve is in the relieving mode, the inlet port is blocked. Parker offers pressure reducing/relieving valves in both pilot operated and directing acting styles. The direct acting version is generally used in static applications where response is critical, or leakage is a concern.
F3 hydraulic controls are devices which are generally coupled with pneumatic cylinders allowing to reach a refined adjustment of the working speed.
G.P.A. Italiana produces 26 standard types of hydraulic controls. According to their function they can be divided into:
- Used for controlling the working hydraulics in mobile equipment
- Suitable for installation in arm rests (4TH6)
- Sensitive control due to low actuating forces and proportional control behavior
- Various characteristics for optimum matching to the working hydraulics to be controlled
- Raster and reference positions for identifying working positions for the operator
- Maintenance-free, long service life
- Different grip models available
Electronic Pilot Control Devices THE
- Used for controlling mobile equipment
- Similar ergonomics like hydraulic pilot control devices
- Sensitive control due to low actuating forces and proportional control behavior
- Maintenance-free, long service life
- Different grip models available
- Hall sensors
Very wide range of control-pressure characteristics enables control of machine functions to be application optimized.
Wide range of control devices accessories gives grat flexibility in system design.
Low hysteresis gives consistent machine-function response to cock actuation.
Robust, simple design gives great reliability and easy servicing.
Good metering properties enable gentle, proportional control.
Low, well-adapted lever forces and short lever strokes give good operating comfort.
The power steering controllers are designed to enable and to control the speed of hydraulic (series wound and permanent magnetic ) motors used for power steering in industrial vehicles. These controls are used in conjunction hall effect pulse industrial encoders that supply movement inputs from the steering wheel of the vehicle to the controller. The control will start the motor when steering wheel is moved and ramp up the speed of the motor proportionally to the speed which the steering wheel is rotated. If no movement of the steering wheel is sensed after a pre-set time, the control will shut off the motor, to save energy, reduce noise and extend battery life.
- Voltage Range : 24-48VDC and 72-80VDC
- Armature Current Limit : 60 Amps
- One Hour Rating (In Air) : 15 Amps
- One Minute Rating : 35 Amps
- Frequency : Constant 15KHZ
Features and Benefits:
- Variable idle speed available to protect pump
- Variable steer compensation allows the use of custom sensors
- Variable relief enable allows operation without steer sensors
- A stop timer extends battery life
LAG steering units are used in the hydraulic steering circuits of motor vehicles and mobile machines with high axle loads and driving speeds of up to 50 km/h (60 km/h in Germany).
Even heavy vehicles can be easily steered. The absence of a mechanical connection between the steering unit and the steering axle allows the implementation of solutions that would not be feasible with conventional steering systems.
Includes all cocks that are required in the hydraulic steering circuit for the protection of the steering unit and professional cylinder. No need for additional piping.
If the oil supply fails, the LAG can be used to steer manually - emergency steering capability. The LAG then functions as a handpump to the steering cylinder.
