Eclipse Model SER Single Ended Recuperative burners incorporate the components of a tube firing burner system in a compact package. The SER burner is a nozzle mixing burner and recuperator coaxially mounted inside a single-ended radiant tube. Combustion air entering the SER burner is preheated in the recuperative section by exhaust gases providing higher efficiencies than stand alone burners. SER burners are available in four diameters from 3-1/4" to 7-1/2". Radiant tube length is tailored to the application.

Selas Low NOx burners satisfy the worldwide regulation for low NOx emission with nitrogen oxide emission of less than 50 ppmv ( 1000 mg/Nm3). The fuel air mixture flows from the tip of the burner parallel to the hot face of the furnace wall. The mixture ignites and completes its combustion as it spreads over the wall, bringing it to a uniform temperature. No flames impinge on the process tubes. This lowers maintenance costs since the uniform tube temperature increases process tube life and decreases coking. Burner blocks are not needed to use with these burners and they are easy to light, retrofit and maintain. Silencers and other accessories are available for Selas Low NOx burners.
FEATURES & BENEFITS:
Capacity: 1,500,000 BTU/hour
Pressure: 20 psig
Draft: 0.2” WC
Oxygen: 2%
CO: 5 ppm
NOx: As low as 12 ppm

The ThermThief’s unique nozzle creates an intense, adjustable length flame with a vigorous spinning action. The flame scrubs the inside of the fire tubes to remove the gas film boundary layer and increase heat transfer effectiveness with outstanding temperature uniformity. Not only does this contribute to longer tube life, it also ensures consistently uniform product processing.
ThermThief delivers these additional benefits:
Low NOx and low CO.
Low excess air capability for high efficiency.
Low air and gas pressure requirements.
High heat transfer at low noise levels.
Reliable ignition at a wide range of firing rates.

Furnnox Low Emission Furnace Burner
The Eclipse Furnnox is a low-NOx direct fired furnace burner. The exclusive design provides low emissions in high temperature applications. The Furnnox is capable of producing NOx emissions less than 30 ppm at 3% O2 in most high temperature furnace applications. To achieve high efficiency, the burners are controlled on-ratio throughout the operating range and can be operated with combustion temperatures as high as 1,100°F (600°C).
• Integrated gas and air orifices simplify
burner piping, set-up and adjustment.
• Air and gas inlets are independently
adjustable in 90° increments to suit
a variety of piping alternatives.
• Installation, operation, and maintenance
are simplified and less costly.
• Made to last…rugged Eclipse
dependability and reliability are
built in.
• Available in five sizes up to a capacity
of 1,500,000 BTU/hr (440kW).
The Furnnox offers the convenience of multi-fuel capability with no nozzle change. It can be fired on natural gas, propane and butane. With the Furnnox, you can light anywhere in the ignition range with no pilot required.

Low NOx Burners
SLS™ Technology
MAXON Corporation believes in responsible, intelligent use of energy to produce a better quality of life for everyone, worldwide. We invest in developing innovative technology and the best combustion minds to deliver clean, efficient solutions for our customers. MAXON products feature robust technology, delivered in a practical way, because it's the responsible thing to do for the environment and the population.
SLS™ Technology reduces NOx in industrial burners by reducing prompt NOx formation in the reacting flow field. This advanced technology is an innovative method to merge stabilized, lean premix technology with flexible nozzle mix advantages. Covered by two US patents, the SLS™ Technology in MAXON products produces extremely low emission of NOx and CO without sacrificing performance or reliability. Look for the SLS™ tag on MAXON burners like the M-PAKT™ Ultra Low Emission Burner.

The self-checking RUBY PACKSCAN flame detectors are mainly designed for monitoring gas burners.
They transmit a binary safety signal on the presence or absence of a flame.
The response time to a flame shutdown is less than 1 second, as per Standard EN298 relating to gas safety equipment.
The RUBY PACKSCAN detector uses a detection tube for ultraviolet wavelengths between 185 and 280nm.
An auto-checking mechanism for the tube covers the sight hole three times per second in order to ensure self checking operation.
A display enables visualisation of the configured parameters as well as the level of detection.
30 years in the field of flame detection gives the RUBY PACKSCAN the following advantages :
• an ‘all in one concept’ with an integrated amplifier in the scanner head for easy installation
• two microprocessors for increased safety and reliability
• Approved by APAVE meeting all safety criteria requirements.
• Detection level indicator to simplify commissioning
• Various standard confi guration methods by internal switches, by
remote and serial link to simplify configuration.
• DPDT output switch to indicate flame presence and proper detector operation.

A combination of independant UV (ultraviolet) and IR (infrared) flame detection plus a direct visual sight to the scanned flame in a single scanner head.
The advantages of the WINDOW 141 head are:
Pure UV detection (220nm peak): not affected by visible and sunlight radiations like a Si UV enhanced system would.
IR detection (1 550nm peak) very stable: not affected by visible radiations and temperature variations like for the Ge, PbS or other IR cells.
For easy installation, a ball swivel mounting on the burner front allows adjustment of the viewing angle. Standard 1'' NPT connections are used for the ball swivel and scanner head.
The visible section of the radiation is only for visual observation through the WINDOW (patented). The following can be observed:
Sight alignment
Flame quality
Lens cleanness
Operation of the shutter
Inside UV and IR LEDs
