Thermofoil heaters are thin, flexible heating elements consisting of an etched foil resistive element laminated between layers of flexible insulation. Since their introduction by Minco over 45 years ago, Flexible Thermofoil heaters have demonstrated significant advantages over conventional electric heaters.
Precise Heating :
Thermofoil heaters put heat where you need it. You simply apply them to the surface of the part to be heated. Their thin and Flexible profile gives close thermal coupling between the heater and heat sink. You can even specify profiled heat patterns with higher watt densities in areas where heat loss is greater.

The Hauck LHO Oil Line Heater is designed to supply the heat necessary to lower the viscosity of heavy fuel oils to that required at the burner for proper atomization. This typically requires lowering the pumping viscosity (nominal 2000 SSU maximum) to the atomizing viscosity (80 - 90 SSU). Auxiliary components can also be supplied to control fuel oil temperature and prevent overpressurization of the oil line heater. Hauck’s LHO’s are available in a wide range of sizes to meet specific application requirements.

Heaters
Compact heaters to keeping at a moderate temperature of cabinets and housings with electrical electronic installations.
In switchgear cabinets condensation with variations in temperature, which can lead to malfunctions or to losses of the components in the switchgear cabinet, forms. Heaters prevent subnormal temperatures and work against the emergence of condensation. Heater blowers provide additionally for the even distribution of warm interior air. The heaters are appropriate for continuous operation.

Our ATP Operation designs and manufactures custom heater assemblies that utilize solid-state PTC thermistor elements. PTC thermistors are truly remarkable for their ability to function as a self-regulating heating element and this characteristic makes them ideal for a wide range of heating applications. Because of the resistance versus temperature characteristics of PTC thermistors, the power consumed is nearly independent of voltage, ambient temperature, dissipation conditions and other parameters and these heating elements require no thermostat or additional control. PTC heaters can be combined in a variety of ways to heat flat surfaces, cylindrical areas and others shapes and sizes. Spectrum Sensors provide a variety of value-added services, such as extension leads and isolating the heating elements electrically in order to provide a finished solution that a customer can use right out of the box.
Features
• Configurations include discs, rectangles, squares, cylinders and various shapes with holes to increase the surface area of the heating element
• Multiple PTCs can be joined in parallel to provide constant heating over a larger area
• Virtually unlimited life
• No moving parts
• Highly efficient
• Extremely cost effective

PTC-Heating Technology
PTC heating elements can be advantageously used for many types of heating due to their special resistance temperature characteristics. The equipment which is normally necessary for the regulation of temperature and the securing from overheating can be done without.
The used capacity PTC have an extremely positive run of the electrical resistance depending on the temperature. Therefore also the name PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient).

The Hotwatt Square and Rectangular Cartridge Heater is designed to distribute maximum heat within a desired area. Because they are completely enclosed, square units will furnish more usable heat for a given wattage than a comparable strip heater attached to the exterior of a mod, platen, or other equipment.
The units are inserted in a milled slot, permitting greater lengths than would be feasible with a drilled or reamed hole. Close dimensional tolerances are held to permit intimate fit for best heat transfer to surrounding medium.
Heating elements arranged just beneath outside surface for maximum heat transfer, minimum wire temperature, and faster heating.
Maximum surface temperatures up to 1200°F. Designations are etched on the sheath to preserve accurate shape.
Long, trouble free service.
Made in U.S.A.
Construction:
-Sealed end.

Watt-Flex Replaceable Immersion Heaters
Heating an acidic or caustic solution in an immersion application can be a difficult and often dangerous procedure. Dalton’s Watt-Flex replaceable immersion system eliminates the complication of changing the heater and draining the tank.
Dalton Electric’s Watt-Flex cartridge heater and immersion well system use a sheath with a welded endcap and NPT fitting that screw into the side of the tank. The sheath becomes a permanent part of the equipment. The cartridge heater is then inserted into this well and held in place with a flange. It can be removed and replaced with ease.

Multifunctional use, uniform heating:
Contact heating of flat surfaces. We manufacture flat heating elements in several materials customised to your application.
SILICONE heater mats consist of heating wire or an etched heating foil, which is encapsulated and insulated between two silicone mats strengthened by textile glass fibers. They are suitable especially for applications requiring precise temperature and homogeneous heat distribution. Due to their low thermal mass they distinguish by quick response and an excellent controllability. Their low mass and small construction height make them interesting for many aerospace applications. Their resistance against moisture and humidity (IP 54 and higher) recommends them for laboratory equipment, catering appliances and frost or condensation protection especially of electronic components. The only restriction of this versatile heater: its max. continuous operating temperature of 200° C (up to 230° C for short periods).
Fitting for your application, silicone heater mats can be build in nearly every dimension and geometry with numerous extra-components, e. g. thermocouples, limiters and thermal fuses.
Especially for larger quantities we recommend to use heating mats with etched heating foil. In regard to forms, dimensions and complexity of heat distribution they are as variable as heaters with heating wire. Through shorter distances and larger surface of etched strip conductors they reach an even higher watt density and a more homogeneous heat distribution.

|
|
The silicone heating elements are characterised by highly uniform heat distribution. They are very flexible and avaible in many differents versions. As foils, mats or shaped components they are already in use as an economic solution in innumerable applications. They are always manufactured especially for the particular requirements.
