More and more beverage producers and fillers are turning to plastic as an essential part of their logistics assets.
Already well established in the glass container sector, plastic is now increasingly recognised as offering many benefits for the storage and transport of cans and PET containers.
Plastic is superior to cardboard and wood in many respects, especially:
-Standards of cleanliness and hygiene
-Durability (reducing waste and impact on the environment)
-Appearance
-Value for money in both multi-trip and one way systems

General description :
Divider Sheets provide maximum product protection and load stability for unitized loads of food, beverage and industrial products. When combined with plastic pallets and top frames, an efficient shipping system is created for storage and transport.
These reusable plastic Divider Sheets are placed between layers of aluminum, steel, glass and plastic cans or bottles used to package food and beverage products. They are also used in many industrial applications to protect items, including printed materials or automotive products.
- 100% recyclable divider sheets
- Reusable sheets with long service life
- Economic, environmental and efficient alternative to fiber sheets or corrugated sheets
Divider Sheets, commonly called layer pads or tier sheets, are available in solid and corrugated styles to meet diverse application needs. The non-sloughing, plastic design reduces product contamination that can occur from dust, fiber and splinters found in alternative sheet materials. Additionally, Divider Sheets are easily cleanable, using proprietary cleaning technologies.
Their reusability eliminates the packaging waste associated with the disposal of corrugated and solid fiberboard divider sheets. To support high-velocity supply chains, Divider Sheets are also available on a rental basis, through pooling services. Slip sheets also available.

Plastic is the ideal material for single use transit packaging. As hygiene regulations tighten up across Europe, more and more companies are turning to plastic for all the benefits it can deliver. Plastic will not rot or corrode and is
-Fibre and dust free (unlike wood or cardboard)
-Chemically and biologically inert
-Easily cleaned and sterilised
What's more, since plastic is resistant to water and other types of moisture, it can be used either to provide protection against moisture or to contain goods where water, ice or other liquids are key to keeping the produce fresh.
We have a wide range of single trip packaging products, designed for use in many diverse markets.

stretch film roll
-We at Penguin proudly guarantee that the following quality control procedures are used on every pallet that we despatch.
- Our film is constantly checked for thickness accuracy, edge alignment and film clarity.
- Finished rolls are checked for the correct film weight; When a pallet is complete, we weigh the entire pallet. This double check procedure ensures that our distributors and their customers get exactly what they order.
- We also take a roll from each pallet and run it on special testing equipment. This equipment monitors stretch levels, puncture resistance, cling and retention. It also checks for other potential problems, such as gels or inconsistencies with resin.
- If any of our finished rolls does not meet our quality control criteria, we don't ship them.
- These procedures ensure that the recommended and sampled film will perform time after time. The Penguin film-quality-assurance guarantee it.

For nearly 20 years, Signode Packaging Systems has been one of the world's leading producers of stretch wrapping systems, including stretch film and application equipment. These systems, which may be used exclusively or in conjunction with strapping systems, help protect products from damage during handling, transit and storage.
We produce our own stretch films in a variety of types and sizes to be used with our full line of semi and fully automatic stretch wrapping systems.
Our sales, equipment service, customer service and engineering departments can help you design the optimum protective packaging system for your application.
Blown Films
Blown stretch film provides greater tear resistance, tension retention and scuff resistance than cast film, making it ideal for heavy industrial loads, irregular loads and loads with sharp corners.
Cast film provides better clarity and gloss, and quieter film unwind than blown films. These characteristics make cast film a good choice for cube shaped loads, and loads that are used for display purposes.
Films are subject to continual development by Signode. To learn more about the range of possibilities currently available, please contact your local representative.
