EPS cartridges are designed to meet the special needs of the electronics and high purity chemical industries. Polyethersulfone membrane cartridges are resistant to most acids and bases and capable of handling strong sanitization agents. High flow rates make Polyethersulfone a good choice for central DI water systems. This membrane will also handle elevated process temperatures in compatible fluids. To minimize extractables, each cartridge module is pulse, power flushed until the rinse effluent reaches 17+ Megohm-cm and less than 3 ppb TOC. Each cartridge module is also individually tested.

PiP housings and PiP elements are used for process filtration. It is about a brand-new developed series of filters. It includes pleated cartridge filter elements and bag replacement elements for process filtration as for instance filtration of cleaning liquid, lacquers, colors. Originally, pleated cartridge filter elements were developed for the filtration of cleaning liquids, nevertheless they are applicable in a wide range of areas.

With nearly 1000 systems installed, KMS pioneered the use of membranes in the wine industry. We have learned that each wine is unique and the filtration required must match the wine itself. We work with winemakers to enhance the organoleptic and aesthetic characteristics of the final product.
KMS' one step process reduces processing costs
Membrane systems using crossflow filtration with the durable KMS WINEFILTER cartridge offer excellent throughput rates eliminating use and disposal of diatomaceous earth or filter sheets in a compact system design.
• Gentle process promotes outstanding product quality and color intensity
• Back pulse/throttle permeate allows steady productivity
• Eliminates the need for diatomaceous earth (no disposal or filter aid costs)
• No pretreatment, fining agents or filter sheets
• Standard designs available

GS Series Polyethersulfone Membrane Cartridges are designed for general industrial service where the need for cost effective filtration is a must. These cartridges utilize a pleated membrane design, incorporating the maximum amount of media that can be used in a cartridge. These units, manufactured for general industrial use, are manufactured to the same high standards as our special application cartridges. Pore sizes start at 0.03 µm with a polyethersulfone membrane.

BetaPure®
Advantages
* Rigid Self-Supporting Structure
* Free of Media Migration
* Consistent Filtration Characteristics
* Excellent Flow Characteristics
* Broad Chemical Compatibility
* FDA Compliant in Polypropylene/Polyethylene Grades
Cartridge Construction
BetaPure utilizes state of the art fiber technology combined with innovative process technology to provide a clean, rigid filter structure with consistent and reproducible filtration characteristics.
BetaPure is available in two bicomponent fiber systems
1. Polypropylene/Polyethylene
2. Polyester/Copolyester
BetaPure is constructed using long, bicomponent fibers, each fiber having an inner core of polypropylene and an outer sheath of polyethylene, BetaPure performance Engineered "Z" Grades have special integral inserts designed to achieve precise removal characteristics and optimize flow and service life. The bicomponent fibers can be thermally bonded because of the difference in melt temperatures between the two components. Heating the matrix to the melt temperature of the polyethylene sheath, but below that of the polypropylene core, causes the fiber to fiber bond at each contact point, without fiber shrinkage or polypropylene degradation. The high degree of fiber to fiber bonding eliminates the need for a core support and any possibility of media migration.
Polyester BetaPure is constructed by using long bicomponent fibers of polyester and copolyester. This fiber matrix has wide solvent and chemical compatibility and is suitable for many high temperature applications.

Size Matters! One 16" instead of 4 x 8" membranes equates to less O-rings, permeate connectors that can leak, and still produces more water per m2 of membrane surface area!
GrahamTek 16 inch RO membranes are manufactured by reputable membrane suppliers such as Hydranautics and SAEHAN who manufacturers the membranes for GrahamTek under licensing arrangements

SC series cartridges have been designed to tackle the toughest of filtering applications. The cartridges are available in 304 or 316 Stainless steel with a complete option of end cap configurations. You can choose the pleated style for extra surface area and extended life or the cylindrical for easy cleaning. SC cartridges are the perfect choice for high temperature, high pressure, and resolve chemical compatibility with polymer elements. SC filters are cleanable and reusable and offered in retention ratings as low as 2 micron through 840 micron.

Self cleaning filters are available in either manual or automatic versions with standard design options for either low pressure (14 BARG) or high pressure (35 BARG) system.
In operation the liquid enters the body and flows through the element from outside to inside.
Debris is collected on the outside of the wedge wire element, which is cleaned without flow interruption by rotating the cylindrical element against twin scraper blades.
The debris accumulated during element rotation is deposited into the bottom of the filter body from where it is periodically discharged, manually or automatically.
