Laser transmission welding belongs to the established processes in mass production today. It allows, plastic parts to be welded without creating any debris or shocks. In general, small and larger, soft and flexible joining parts can be processed, from micro-parts used in high-tech applications to mass production.
* Laser welding machines working with the quasi-simultanous and contour welding techniques.
* Complete automated welding lines including parts management by feeding systems, handling solutions.
* Machine concepts in all variations, e.g. rotary table or linear transfer design.
* Robots can be integrated depending on application.

General description
Application: Welding cell phone carriages
Features: This dual-headed 220 watt Nd:YAG system was integrated into an existing production line to replace a conventional welder. A 'walking beam' conveyor lifts a tray of parts up into the open floor of the work enclosures for the the welding process. After the welding, the conveyor lowers the trays and moves them on to the next assembly station.

Enclosures are required for laser systems in a factory work environment. All Dukane enclosures are Class I laser tight and utilize laser-safe glass viewing windows where appropriate. Light-curtain-protected guillotine doors are utilized for access to the fixturing area for operation, setup, or automated parts handling. A common concept involves a two-position turntable with an integrated door.
Positioning systems run the full spectrum from simple servo stages or galvo heads to complex robotic installations. If you have a need, we will find a way to accommodate it.
Integration of the laser beam controls with the beam or part positioning system is simple with Dukane's laser welder software tools. Using sophisticated computer controls, we work with you to ensure that each weld program results in a robust process and maximized part quality.

Integrated handling and laser-welding reduces the number of machining operations in the manufacturing process. Modern laser beam sources and optimal clamping technology ensure minimum welding distortion. The space-saving, compact design increases the integrity of the process capability and the flexibility of the machine.
|
|
The new class NOVOLAS Basic AT is optimised for the
integration into production lines. lt can be easily configured
for various requirements, due to its consequent modular
design. Almost any welding concept can be realised with
the different diode laser and optic modules. Besides the
established concepts like contour welding mainly mask
welding and GLOBO-welding has to be emphasised. The
mutually matched components provide high process stability
as well as cost-saving production. The use of multiple laser
and optic modules in one single system enables an efficient
way to increase throughput which also helps reducing costs.

DESCRIPTION
ML-8150A - SHG Green Laser Welder
The SHG laser is specially designed to weld copper and gold.
Copper and gold are materials with high reflectance so that those are known as hard-to-weld materials.
Wavelength of SHG laser is 532nm which is a half of fundamental laser (1064nm) and that makes laser absorptance to copper and gold 4.5 to 20 times higher than fundamental laser. Even copper and gold does not reflect SHG laser.
SHG laser increases laser absorptancy of copper and gold!
Perfect solution for welding thin copper wires with PCB, welding of bus bars and more.
For solder-less joining of semiconductor substrate
SHG laser can weld copper wire directly onto a semiconductor substrate without using solder.
Welding sample
Welding of 3 sheet (0.5mm each) overlap of CuSn6 has been performed at a maxium penetration of 1.25mm.
|
|
Laser welding and special purpose laser application machines have been developed to weld mechanical parts in general with special emphasis on manual or automatic gearboxes.
While optimizing productivity, the systems produce high quality consistent welds:
Energy imparted to the component is minimized;
High welding speed;
The beam can be guided into hard-to-reach areas;
Low maintenance cost;
Welding is performed under normal atmospheric pressure in an inert gas.
Cinetic Machining can propose fully equipped lines including washing machines, preheating station and on-line ultrasonic control station, as well as the related automation systems.
Cinetic Machining can also implement CO2 or YAG laser technology for applications such as cutting, wire stripping, surface treatment or marking.

This unit has been developed for areas where the laser work shop needs to be prepared for any type of job. Regardless of whether thousands of small pipes need to be welded or cut today and a three ton mould delivery tomorrow, the UNIxX III will fulfill any task with the highest precision.
The many software tools provided will ensure speedy and high precision processing.
The range of 700mm in the x axis and 400mm in the y axis enable you to process big components without the necessity of them being repositioned.
Small pieces weighing up to 300kg can be processed on the working table aforementioned in UNIxXI and the working position pivoted accordingly.
The positioning and height of the working table has been designed to level with a normal office chair to allow one to sit and work ergonomically, and provides enough legroom. The sturdy table tipped at a well positioned angle ensures that there are no obstacles in your way.
When working on very big pieces, the working table can simply be swivelled to the side to allow the component to be placed under the laser by forklift. The extended range length enables you to reach the area to be repaired quickly.
The head is equipped with a bracket allowing for rotation of the laser head and enables you to weld along edges and angles.

StarShape
The new StarShape series from Rofin/Baasel Lasertech provides a large number of different lasers for micro-material processing. All StarShape series applications have one thing in common: the precise, local, selective ablation of areas of the surface of a component or tool by vaporization or vaporization-induced displacement of the molten mass.
The lasers in the series can be used to structure surfaces, drill through-going or blind holes, or remove selected layers of substrates precisely to the micrometer. The materials that can be processed range from metals through ceramics and diamonds to plastics.
To cover most of ablating micro-material processing, the StarShape series includes both Nd:YAG lasers in cw or Q-switched versions, and CO2 lasers. The available wavelengths thus range from green to within the infra-red end of the spectrum. Interaction times from the few nanoseconds of end-pumped solid state lasers up to the continuous-wave range, offer suitable laser solutions for all of the above-mentioned applications.
