Stall-type nutrunners consist of an air motor
connected to the output spindle by planetary gearing
and angle heads. In operation, the tool runs down
the fastener until the torque resistance in the
fastener causes the tool to stall. When the tool stalls,
the throttle is released by the operator and the tool is
removed. Stall-type tools can produce accurate
torques, especially on applications with varying
torque rates

Impact Wrenches - Power and Speed
Atlas Copco´s powerful, high-speed impact wrenches are designed to cut production times by providing fast run-down and quick tightening. Impact wrenches build up torque in joints through a series of rotary impacts. The portfolio includes both shut-off and non shut-off impact wrenches.
LMS - Non shut-off impact wrenches
These tools provide enormous power, yet you are in full control, and there is virtually no reaction force during tightening. The torque is applied to the joint, not your wrist. All Atlas Copco impact wrenches have a wide torque range, so each tool
can be adjusted to handle many applications.
- Fast tightening and disassembly.
- Wide torque range (70-10000 Nm).
- Low weight.
- Negligible reaction force.
- Soft-start throttle
LTS - Shut-off impact wrenches
These tools automatically shut off when the preset torque is reached, elimina ting the need for guesswork. Place the tool on the joint to be fastened and
press the trigger. The tool will automatically shut-off at a predetermined torque
level, which provides for an operator independent tightening.
- Automatic shut-off shortens tightening time
- Consistent torque accuracy
- No over-torquing
- Low weight
- Adjustable torque settings (80-650 Nm)
The purpose of the added bounce energy
principle is that the energy con tent of each
impact is added to the next and following
impact until the preset level is reached
and the tool shuts off.

Modern design practices cause many threaded
fasteners to be located in such a way as to be
practically inaccessible to power tools. The only
modern production tool for accurate torquing of these
“hidden fasteners” is the versatile ratchet wrench with
its flat, narrow attachment and wide variety of sockets.
High performance, lightweight air motors are used in
Gardner-Denver Ratchet Wrenches. Stall-type and
clutch actuated air shut-off features provide a motor
selection that can be matched to meet job
requirements. Reverse rotation of the fastener is
accomplished by simply turning the tool over.
To accommodate various size diameter sockets,
several side plate widths are offered for each motor
size, thus providing a wide range of available torques.

Ingersoll Rand's more than 100 year legacy of designing world-class tools of the highest quality, durability, and reliability is evident in our line of pneumatic ratchets. Smaller in size and more powerful than competitive models, our ratchets are specifically engineered to make you job easier and you more productive. Our enhanced ergonomics make our ratchets easy to use.
