Gleaning Machine PSM The high-performance PSM Cleaning Machine - now available with recirculating air sifter - for coffee, cocoa, nuts and pulses. Machines with a throughput of 5-60t/h can be supplied.
The machine comprises a completely enclosed dust- proof sieve box. The two sieves, for coarse and fine separation, are fitted with rubber sieve cleaning elements. The drawer construction of the sieves enables them to be replaced easily. The low-energy eccentric drive develops an extremely quiet and highly effective rotary action which can be continuously adjusted up to 30 mm.
In the newly designed recirculating air sifter, dust and lightw'eight material is cleanly separated from the product and discharged through a cyclone. Up to 80-85% of the clean air is returned to the sifter through specially shaped trunking. The remaining air is passed to the filter assembly. The Magnus AJA LIF is a heavy duty, low maintenance immersion washing and processing machine that mechanically agitates the parts in a hot or cold cleaning solution.

Tornado Nozzles do more …
than simply clean by compressed air blow! Contamination such as dust, swarf or even liquids are loosened by a powerful air-jet. Air turbulence created by the rotating movement traps and effectively removes contamination from the surface. Both rotating arms can be individually adjusted, i.e. the speed of rotations and the jet angle can be adjusted to suit the application. Tornado Nozzles only use compressed air and are absolutely reliable devices. They may also be used in explosion-risk areas.
Cleanroom version
All Tornado Nozzles are available in a cleanroom version. At an operating pressure of 6 bar, they are suitable for cleanrooms with clean-air conditions “class 100” (US Federal Standard 209E).

High volume tests of automotive hose assemblies etc. Pressure test, leak test, flow test, volume expansion test, high pressure cleaning and dry blowing in the same cycle.
We have long experience in pressure testing, leak testing and cleanliness. Here the expression “weakest link in the chain” is really valid. When you wash a tube it’s very important that you get the pressure drop in the test object and not in the machine. We have developed a system of sandwich valves, pressure transformers, etc which we need in the system. We are practically the only ones in the market who use servo hydraulics to generate the test pressure. It costs more than pneumatic intensifiers but the advantages are significant.

Power Sonics exclusive designs are known as the Type IP ultrasonic transducers. Typically each transducer requires a one kW generator to drive it and has a radiating surface of approximately 100 square inches. They are designed to be mounted in just about any position, depending on the cleaning application.
Faster, the Type IP transducer because of the lamination design and layout achieves more even cavitation, which result in a transducer which achieved cavitation easily and quickly. The lamination design produces higher cavitation intensity that is more evenly distributed throughout the cleaning area.
This type of magnetostrictive transducer design consists of individual laminations driven by a common coil. Coverage of the radiating surface with laminations results in a high intensity design capable of being driven at high power densities. Levels of 10 Watts per square inch of lamination are typical with this approach.
The high efficiency of this new transducer design also reduces stress on generator components, which results in extended generator life. Type GM, GL and GP generators power these immersibles.
Other advantages of the lamination material are mechanical, electrical and thermal toughness. Low voltage excitation and continuous polarization support the high efficiency design. The "Synergistic" driving action of the radiating surface allows the IP transducer to be driven at the highest usable power levels for achieving effective cavitation. |
