Using structural adhesives for assembly guarantees the joint once it is under important mechanical pressure during its lifespan in its working environment. A structural jointing or « cold welding » can substitute traditional techniques like welding, screwing, riveting, or stamping...
There are 3 types:
- Acrylic or Méthacrylate
- Epoxyde
- Polyurethane |
|
Axson Technologies developed a broad range of structural adhesives able to be integrated in the majority of the applications using this method of assembly.
The epoxy resins, polyurethans and methacrylates have high characteristics of adhesion on a variety of supports traditional such as wood and metal but so complex, such as alloys, thermoplastics or composite materials for industrial applications. These assemblies can be flexible or elastic but also extremely resistant within the framework of specific structural joinings for example. AXSON TECHNOLOGIES is a specialist recognized in the structural joining equipped with a specific competence in joining metal - plastic and plastic - plastic.
The principal applications are the following ones:
* Applications of universal joining (all confused industries)
* Joinings of panels
* Automobile equipment (manufacturers of small size and vehicles of small series special vehicles and luxury)
* Automobile subcontracting (joining of subsets)
* Market of construction and decoration (joining of tiles and noble stones)
* Rail-bound transports (joining and insulation of doors)
* Market of filtration (clean rooms, dialysis filters)
* Market of naval construction and the water sports (methane tankers, blades of wind mills, joining of various elements) |

| DYMAX UV radiometers measure the UV-A (320-395nm) intensity emitted by DYMAX UV curing systems. Degradation of UV curing bulbs, lightguides, and reflectors can decrease intensity, resulting in incomplete cures. DYMAX UV radiometers are simple to operate and allow operators to monitor and document a UV curing process. A low UV intensity measurement signals an operator to replace the bulb, reflector, or lightguide. Radiometers can also be used to confirm that operators are properly shielded from UV exposure. |

Master Bond offers a number of specialty type silicone systems including one part conformal coatings, special fast curing systems, higher temperature resistant specialty systems, electrically and thermally conductive systems as well as transparent silicones.
Silicones are elastomeric systems with the unique combination of flexibility and high temperature resistance. One and two part Master Bond Silicone Systems can be used as adhesives, sealants, coatings and potting materials. One part systems cure by moisture in the air and two part systems are cured by the polymerization reaction that occurs when a curing agent is added where the two part systems can cure in thicker sections.
Aside from temperature resistance and inherent high flexibility, other noteworthy properties of silicones include excellent resistance to water, superb electrical insulation properties and sealing/adhesive properties particularly to glass, plastics, metals and rubber (including silicone rubber itself).
