ECLYSS 5-8 KG 2000-M SERIES PISTON PUMP
The ECLYSS 2000 - M Series of hot–melt applicators were designed for the application of adhesives and thermoplastic material with viscosity 500 and 30.000 Cps. The opportunity to choose between different tank sizes, combined with the option of mounting various microprocessors up to 4 channels with relative glue pattern control, renders the ECLYSS Series very versatile and suited for use in all fields of application, to satisfy the needs of the most demanding customers, where restricted dimensions or reduced glue quantities are necessary. The applicators are equipped with 5 and 8 kg tanks with heated ribs along the base of the tank to increase melting capacity and ease the flow of glue towards the bottom of the tank. All the parts touching the adhesive are coated with a special high temperature scratch-resistant PTFE non-stick surface, this prevents the glue from forming films that could be quickly transformed into carbonaceous residues, which cause premature wear and operational difficulties.Attention to design detail enables the glue filter to be easily reached and replaced. A combination of better adhesive distribution and the Preo progressive melt system prevents the nozzle from blocking due to adhesive residues.All ECLYSS Series applicators are equipped with either pneumatic or gear pumps. The pneumatic pump is a double-acting piston with a compression ratio of 13:1 and electric reversing system eliminating the pulsating effect of a single acting pump, and is recommended for adhesives up to 30,000cps.

GLUE DETECTOR CIA SERIES
It was specially designed to check automatic high speed gluing lines. The device detects each drop of glue and checks its continuity; moreover it indicates any possible anomaly in real time. It perfectly complements any existing dosing system because it is a completely autonomous device that is able to reduce production scraps almost to zero. The detection process is the passive infrared one: an innovative sensor is able to detect the infrared rays emitted by the drop of glue in real time, when available, with a detection time lower than one thousandth of a second. A powerful microprocessor makes sure glue detection, glue deliveries and alarm signals are properly synchronized thanks to the machine encoder and/or the quartz chronometer. This process is completely automatic even on variable speed lines. The device manages an instantaneous and a proportional alarm level and a practical piece-counter function. The optical measuring head is equipped with an air-operated cleaning system, so that it maintenance operations are not necessary even in very dusty environments. CIA Series Glue detector main topics are: real time detection of every deposited glue dot by infrared; real time signalling and report of every anomalies; complete control from microprocessor; full integration and compatibility with every existing dosing system; reduction to “ZERO” of production scraps; Installation completely independent; maximum flexibility with instantaneous and per cent alarm signals; optical head with pointing system fully automatic; auto-cleaning air system for dusty environment.

Adhesive application my be as reliable as possible, but various companies and their customers require a proof, which products are erroneous, and moreover what percentage of the lot is.
Depending on application area, type of glue or its form there are different ways to check glue. Baumer hhs has an option for each application.
Cold Glue Sensors: Directly after application they detect, whether and where glue dots or lines can be found. If glue is alrady dried up, it is assumed not there.
Side Seam Sensors: Not only check if glue is there, but also its quantity. They are used to rate the gluing results from wheel pots.
Flow Rate Sensors: Built within the hose directly before the gun, they check whether glue has flown. This process is needed, when glue can not be seen after its application, for example in bore holes for dowels.

The 2800 Series positive displacement dispensers are ideal for applying uniform amounts of two-part epoxies and other fluids that change viscosity over time.
Compressed air is not required%u2014instead, these electrically operated units use stepper motors and patented technology to advance and retract a piston inside the syringe barrel. They will produce accurate, repeatable deposits, regardless of changes in fluid viscosity or temperature.

The universal adhesive spray gun PILOT III-K is exclusively suitable for solvent-based adhesives. In the automobile industry, the model PILOT III-K has proven itself many times, particularly in the manufacture of upholstery and in lamination. The body is coated with TEFLON® for comfortable cleaning.
Rotary jet nozzles are used so that the adhesives can be processed easily. Nozzle sizes: 1.0 / 1.5 / 1.8 / 2.0 mm Ø. The nozzle insert is designed such that material deposits on the air cap are avoided.
