UDL Series Speed Variators
UD(L) series planet cone-disk stepless speed variator merges domestic and overseas advanced technique and craftamanship. It has the following characteristics.

Can operate in either direction based on rotation of motor.
The frames 0.18,0.37 and 0.75 are constructed with the aluminium body, larger sizes are made of cast iron.

DESCRIPTION

Designed for use on a wide variety of machinery, Zero-Max Drives may be used as primary or secondary drives.
The speed range is infinitely adjustable from 0 to 1/4 of the input speed under full rated load. Reversible models are available with reverse and neutral settings.
They are available in five sizes providing constant torque of 12 to 200 inch pounds throughout the speed range. To achieve the exact performance characteristics you require, Zero-Max Adjustable Speed Drives are available with optional gearheads, motors and C-flange adapters. Some Zero-Max Drives may be purchased with standard electric motors or they may be connected to any rotating power source up to 2000 RPM.

The new HFUC Series component sets are a result of the continuous development of Harmonic Drive precision reduction gearing. In comparison with standard gears, the new HFUC series features a shortened Flexspline, which results in an important reduction of the axial length. Double shaft extruder gears have been built by PIV Drives since 1984 for a variety of applications in the plastics and food industries. This product is in operation around the world to the complete satisfaction of our customer base. The gearing is case hardened and ground with a profile correction for optimal load-bearing performance and noise reduction. An extremely quiet gear-train is achieved through a high contact ratio. The axial forces which occur during the extrusion process are safely absorbed through a system of tandem bearings and self-aligning roller thrust bearings.

These new gear reducers, which are protected by a specific patent, feature a combination of planetary and helical/bevel helical gears that takes advantage of the strengths of each technology: compact size, reliability and easy maintenance.
This new series of lighter, more compact gear reducers surpass traditional solutions for planetary and bevel helical gear reducers and also ensure shorter production times and lower production costs.
The design of these ultra-compact gear units is based upon precise analyses using FEM (Finite Elements Method) techniques applied to 3D models, which means that performance, in terms of duration and silence, was optimized already in the virtual prototype phase.
Advanced engineering techniques, long experience and the use of high quality parts from Brevini Riduttori and PIV Drives led to the creation of a product that ensures high performance over time, a fact that has been confirmed by tests that simulate real operating conditions. |
