Viking in-line gear reducers offer reduction ratios from 2.6:1 to 35.1:1, with the ability to handle loads up to 260 kW. Solid input shaft or close-coupled input side adapters for IEC or NEMA motors offer mounting versatility. A second series of offset gear reducers, with ratios from 2.24:1 to 7.95:1, allows rotation of the input shaft to match motor height for easy mounting, while maintaining output shaft height. They are capable of loads to 30 kW.
|
|
Fields of application for these gear reducers are rolling mills, profiling plants, crushers, double-shaft mixers, kneaders, compactors and presses. Applications of this type require two contra-rotating drives, such as provided by the POSIRED TS gear. The various designs, installation possibilities and optional accessories from the basic range of POSIRED 2 can also be used for the double shaft gear POSIRED TS.

The RV-C Hollow Shaft is also available in Right Angle configurations for greater space saving capabilities. Please Contact Nabtesco for further information.
LONG LIFETIME AND RELIABILITY
The Nabtesco Reducer consists of a patented two-stage cycloidal design that provides large torque, high-ratio and significant shock-load capabilities with extreme precision and excellent quality. The RV utilizes rolling contact elements to reduce wear, extend life and lower backlash with the unique pin and gear structure of the cycloidal design providing higher shock resistance than traditional reducers and further reducing backlash. The reducer also incorporates a set of large, internal angular support bearings that provide large moment capacities and negate the need for external support devices.
The virtually symmetrical gear design and the support of all shafts by roller bearings guarantee a constant performance during the lifetime and allow short time peak loads
of up to 5 times the given rated torque (i.e. for emergency stops).

The RD-C provides a large centre thru-hole with a main support bearing together in one complete gearhead. The large thru-hole (up to 5.78 inches) can accommodate cables, shafts, lasers, and etc. for the most efficient design possible with the off-centre input providing larger ratio options which 1) reduce the need for a planetary pre-stage reducer and 2) allow for a greater design flexibility in the various output speeds the application requires. The main internal angular support bearings also provide large moment capacities and negate the need for external support devices - reducing design time and installation costs.
The RD-C Series is shipped completely sealed (grease included) with the motor adapter plate and motor shaft coupling customised for your specific servomotor. This straightforward design allows for a quick and easy installation directly into your process.

GEAR SERIES - CS33/ 28
SPUR REDUCTION GEARHEAD
Design - Gear series CS33/ 28 contains Brass gears and steel pinions to ensure
longer life and better wear and tear properties. The gears are fixed on
hardened steel spindles polished to a mirror finish. These spindles rotate
between bronze plates which ensures silent running. The output shaft rotates in a sintered bushing. The whole assembly is covered with a plastic ring. All the bearings are permanently lubricated and therefore requires no maintenance. The motor is screwed to the gear box from inside. Any small standard motor can be used in combination with the gear box. However the most popular ones are mentioned in the table below.

The helical gearbox from the CMG series is available in 4 different sizes and has the following characteristics:
- Body and the PAM flange are made from aluminium
- The feet and output flange from iron
- The gears are always rectified for stages 1 and 2
- Permanent lubricant
The intensely thought out engineering behind the project allows us to make up the gears quickly by combining specific kits: this reduces the number of components and codes to manage and speeds up assembling and delivery time, which makes management easier and reduces warehouse costs.
The CMG is unique in its type as it is characterised by a higher grade of modularity which makes it ideal for many applications. Starting from the standard base it is possible to configurate the gear according to the applications requirements.

The new CSF-Mini Series Gearboxes set new standards in their class concerning compactness, precision and performance.
In the CSF-Mini Series Gearboxes, HFUC component sets are used for the first time in standardised gearboxes. In comparison to HDUC component sets currently used in the mini series gearboxes, the HFUC component sets feature a shorter design, higher accuracy, higher torque capacity and improved torsional stiffness, whilst they are also able to accept higher maximum input speeds. In conjunction with the newly introduced 30:1 ratio, the CSF Gearboxes can be used with a comparatively high output speed.
A highly rigid four point flange bearing has been specifically developed for use on the output. Therefore the output element is available optionally with shaft or flange mounting. The input can be realised alternatively via a shaft or by a directly coupled motor.
Advantages
* Very compact design
* Backlash free gear with high torque capacity, increased speed limits and optimised torsional stiffness and accuracy
* Four point high rigidity output bearing, with optional output shaft or flange
* Flexible assembly options at the input and output
* Very low weight, making them ideally suited for lightweight applications
|
|
Torque ratings consistently high, gear ratios in close progression, numerous mounting options along with compact dimensions will ease the engineering of any application. The housing from nodular cast iron ensures robustness even in the harshest environment and the class of precision the gear are machined into helps producing an extremely quit and vibration-free operation.
|
|
The CPU-M Unit is designed for direct mounting on any servo motor.
