| The Airpel Air Cylinder does away with any perceptible stiction. And reduces running friction to exceedingly low levels. This gives it the unique ability to impart super smooth motion – motion smoother than any other air cylinder. Even at very low pressures. Even at very slow speeds. Even with very short strokes. Even after standing idle for years! How do you account for this remarkable performance? The Airpel incorporates a unique construction to become an instrument-quality air cylinder. It uses a precision fit graphite piston which slides freely – without lubrication – inside a Pyrex® glass cylinder. This makes it ideal for forces from a very few grams to 30 lbs. or more. In fact, Airpel is particularly well-suited to applications requiring smooth motion at ultra-low pressures – and to moving lightweight objects or delicate loads at slow or high speeds. But this air cylinder is no weakling. It can be used to provide brute forces, too – operating under extreme temperatures, at very high speeds and cycle rates, with no degradation in performance. It also runs cleaner than typical air cylinders because it contains no oil. What’s more, it has no rubber or plastic seals to abrade, wear out, or harden with time. And because all exposed surfaces (except pivot model bushings) are stainless steel and nickel, Airpel is extremely clean and corrosion resistant. |

ISO/VDMA Series Metric Standard Interchangeable Cylinder
The ISO/VDMA Series is an aluminum body air cylinder line that is designed to meet all your international cylinder requirements. In fact, our ISO/VDMA Series cylinders are designed to meet the requirements of ISO 6431 (International) and VDMA 24562 (Germany). The combination of lightweight aluminum construction and proven reliability makes our ISO/VDMA Series the Superior Interchangeable metric, international standard air cylinder line.
GeoMetric® ISO/VDMA Cylinder
The GeoMetric® Series conforms to the following cylinder specifications: VDMA 24562, DIN/ISO 6431, and ISO/FDIS 15552. One of the most desirable features of the cylinder line is the dual switch/sensor groove design that is a standard offering on all GeoMetric®cylinders. The dual groove design offers great flexibility when mounting switches and sensors to the cylinders. One groove is a traditional round groove and the other is what we call the CombiGroove®. The CombiGroove® is a unique design that will accept round and angular switches/sensors. |
|
| Conforming to ISO 6431, VDMA 24562 and NFE 49-003-1 standards. Seven ranges including SMART cylinder with stainless steel versions for all requirements. Double and single acting models with bore sizes from 32-200mm. Comprehensive choice of mountings. |
|
| Double and single acting cylinders with magnetic pistons. Featuring an attractive square style profile barrel with concealed tie rods and integrated grooves for flush mounting off magnetic sensors. Low friction long life seals. |

Air Cylinders with Adjustable Cushions
The Bimba Air Cylinders with adjustable cushions have a readily accessible cushion needle for easy adjustment, double acting models, and a 304 stainless steel body with mirror finish I.D.
High strength aluminum alloy porting ends and ground and roller burnished 303 stainless steel piston rods come standard. Also, the air cylinders have Buna N "U" Cup Seals, low breakaway friction - less than 5 PSI - and special stroke lengths available on request.
Air cylinders come in 3/4", 1-1/16", 1-1/2", 2", 2-1/2", and 3" bore sizes.
Bimba's cylinders with air cushions provide a possible solution to destructive energies. The air cushion traps a small amount of exhaust air at the end of stroke, providing an air pocket that decelerates the load. This reduces the potentially destructive energy being transmitted to the cylinder and other components. |

Hole Punch Cylinders
Designed to punch millions of holes in plastic or other thin sheet materials 2 to 3 mils thick, the long-life BIMBA Pneumatic Hole Puncher will give you more cycles per penny.
The hardened steel cutter with ground razor sharp edges is an integral part of the cylinder. A small air jet ejects the slugs from the cutter preventing slug build up, and Elastomer Bumpers insure cushion quiet operation.
Less than 1" in diameter, several cylinders can be closely mounted. Available in seven hole cutter sizes from 1 / 4 " to 5 / 8".
This stainless steel body, single acting spring return cylinder has a 3 / 4" bore and 1" stroke. A nickel plated steel rod guide is threaded for easy nose mounting, and a 1 / 8" NPT air inlet is conveniently located in the rear head.
Prelubricated with HT-99, the cylinder can be operated with ordinary shop air at pressures up to 250 psi. |

Pneumatic positioner for propotional acting :
The device positioner is particularly suitable to govern rotary actuators; used on butterfly or ball valves. |
|
| AGI offers a full line of pneumatic rotary actuators. All rotary actuators are rack and pinion design and incorporate output flange hard stop. The hardstops stops the output flange directly so there isn't any pinion breakage. The units are ultra hi torque pneumatic actuators due to cross porting the two piston bores. The extremely low profile package is excellent in tight space applications. There are five sizes available with manifold and mid stop options. Torque output ranges from 7in-lbs. to 310 in-lbs. @ 100 psi. |

Valve Operator Systems
·
·Spring Return operators are formed by bolting a spring return unit to a double acting Val-U-Act operator. The return movement is effected by a clock-type spring which is pretensioned to about half the operator torque. The amount of pretention is large, compared to the rotation and therefore the torque does not vary more than 20% over the rotation.
Spring returns are factory-installed and adjusted. The spring returns have a worm drive adjustment for setting or changing spring pretension. By inserting a socket key into one end of the worm the spring pretension can be very easily increased or decreased to suit operating conditions. To increase pretension, turn the worm clockwise; to decrease, turn counterclockwise. |
