The TapTone 4000-DSC - Dual Sensor Compression (DSC) system is designed to inspect a wide variety of flexible containers for micro leaks. The design incorporates our patented dual sensor technology and high speed compression belts for improved accuracy and container handling. The system was designed for harsh, wet environments, like those found in the dairy industry. When combined with the optional X-ray sensor, the system can also perform fill level inspection.
X-ray Technology - measures the product fill level in steel, aluminum, glass, plastic and paper containers. An X-ray tube is used to produce a low-energy X-ray beam. The X-ray beam penetrates the side of the container in the area of the fill level. An X-ray detector is positioned on the opposite side of the container to measure the intensity of the beam after it goes through the container. The intensity of the beam is then compared to acceptable energy levels to determine the relative fill level of each container. The X-ray sensor is used to measure both overfilled and under filled products in all types of containers.

- Two overhead and two underneath tube lights are provided to optimize the lighting.
- Positive driven batch winding mounted on M.S. fabricated frames having two rubber strip coated rollers and batching roll guides. The fabric is wound on the batch roll by surface contact.
- A scroll rolls right after the inspection table opens the fabric roll.
- A bow bar is also provided to open the fabric right before the winding, which gives perfectly wound tight rolls.
- This winding arrangements winds rolls by 25% tighter than the traditional winding mechanisms.
- Measuring Counter is provided in front on the inspection table for easy viewing
- FORWARD/REVERSE/STOP push button controls mounted on inspection table on both sides.

MAXIknuckle ADR is a fully automated x-ray inspection system of different types of knuckles.
Robot takes the part from the tray and presents parts to vision system which
1. Identifies parts
2. Identifies orientation of part
3. Finds large visible defects
4. Finds short shots
5. Verifies serial number after getting serial number on print station
If not prevoisuly rejected (short shots etc.) robot places parts on X-ray rotating table in parts holder. After X-ray inspection, if parts are defective, label is attached to the parts either inside X-ray cabinet or outside on "Reject" station. The complete loading/unloading and visuall as well as x-ray evaluation is executed automatically and no human operator is involved.
Note:
This system is suitable for fully automatic inspection of any complex part. Different parts require design changes to the loading and unloading station.

MAXIwheel™ Classic is Jacobsen's most popular wheel inspection solution. The system is designed for manual, semi or fully automatic inspection of cast light alloy wheels. If you're in the market for a robust, rugged, time tested wheel inspection system, Jacobsen's MAXIwheel™ Classic is your solution. The system is designed to provide maximum uptime under the most demanding conditions and provide trouble free operation for years. The system is modular, meaning it can be ordered according to your needs today, and upgraded to your requirements should they change.
System components are designed with reliability and servicability in mind. Because of our modular approach, when parts need to be replaced, they can be replaced quickly, in most cases with basic tools. Quick-connect connectors are used extensively to make part changes quick and painless. Even the heart of the system, the manipulator, can be removed from the cabinet to make major repairs easier.
The following video shows a typical inspection cycle. The manipulator speed has been decreased to show detail. In a typical inspection, a wheel enters the cabinet and is picked up by the manipulator. It is positioned in a preprogrammed position in the x-ray beam and is rotated 370°. The wheel is then moved to the next preprogrammed position. After all parts of the wheel have been examined, the manipulator returns the wheel to the conveyor and the wheel is transported out of the machine

Through work with EPRI and various utilities, Foster-Miller has designed a specialty minimally invasive system for performing difficult visual inspections in gas turbines. Most gas turbine operators have used borescopes or videoscopes to inspect their equipment and are well aware of their limitations. Borescopes are too stiff to do a variety of inspection tasks, and videoscopes are too flimsy to be pushed very far into combustion cans or up rows of blading. Our custom-engineered tool overcomes these difficulties to provide access to the entire turbine from a few easily accessed ports, resulting in cost savings and reduced downtimes.
To perform a complete combustion system inspection, for example, conventional systems require a great deal of combustor disassembly, making them impractical. Our inspection system can be maneuvered throughout the entire combustion system through the easily accessed flame detector and spark plug ports.
From these access points, the tool can then be maneuvered up and down each combustion can from the fuel nozzles at one end to the first stage nozzles at the other end. The tool can go from can to can by using the cross-fire tubes connecting them. No other tool has the combination of stiffness and flexibility required.
