GM series motors are a result of the many years' of experience gained with the preceding M, L and P series motors, and incorporate a number of design variations with respect to these series intended to increase the strength of the motor casings and the load capacity of the internal dynamic components. The result is a series of motors with high continuous power ratings, both because of the reduced internal specific loads and because of the high mechanical and volumetric efficiency that contribute in reducing the amount of heat produced and therefore also the negative effects associated with it.
Radial injection cylinder feed (1) eliminates direct hydraulic axial loading of the motor casing.
Larger cylinder feed channels (1) for reduced power loss with high flows.
Stronger castings (2) and internal reinforcement ribbing: increased casing strength and stiffness for higher internal and external load capacity.
High load capacity bearings (3) for applications requiring high lifetime, high power/pressure, high external loads.
Larger cylinder trunnions (4) for increased strength and stiffness and reduced specific loads.
Cylinder trunnions with hydraulic balancing (5) to reduce friction, wearing and heat generation, enabling operation with higher powers and improved efficiency.
Compatibility with shafts (6), adaptors, distributors of the motors of other preceding series.
Standardisation of components for increased modularity and flexibility as regards interchangeability of displacements, spare parts and options.
Reduced number of components for a more simple and reliable design.
Compatibility with non-polluting oils.

The MCR radial piston motors are slowly running hydraulic motors which operate according to the multiple-stroke principle.
The relationship between roll diameter and cam profile is optimized inside the central power unit. This results in the best possible balance of forces between piston and cam path and simultaneously extends the service life. The step-piston power unit or high-displacement power unit yields a very compact drive unit with high power density.
MCR motors can be used both in open as well as in closed circuits.

Dual displacement is achieved by a variation of theshaft eccentric cam. The displacement controlsystem is based on a hydraulic device, whichactuates a hydraulic control valve mechanism toselect minimum or maximum displacement. Thedual displacement mode allows the motor toreduce the displacement down to the 10% of themaximum, hence making the speed ten time higher

Axial piston motors with variable displacement series AHP-10 are of swash plate design. They are designed for use in mobile and industrial applications.
Output speed is in proportional relation with input flow and in reverse proportional relation with displacement. Torque increases with the pressure drop and with displacement of motor. The wide scale of controls of the variable displacement motor allows to meet the requirements of high speed and high torque.
Depending on control system the displacement is infinitely variable in the interval from Vgmax to Vgmin = 0 or is variable in the two position Vgmax and Vgmin.
At the picture No. 2, there is drawn cross sectional view of variable motor with a shaft supported on two tapered roller bearing. The rear cover also serves for connection of the high-pressure ports.
To the front cover is bolted a flange with centering diameter in accord with SAE standard. Standard motor is equipped with mechanical - hydraulic servo valve with mechanical feedback. Tightness of the case around the exiting part of the shaft is protected by the shaft sealing for maximum pressure 0,25 MPa (Intermittent 0,5 MPa).
