High performances for material processing demanding applications.
Diode-pumped laser sources.
ViolinoTM U.V. , manufactured with an extensive experience and success of ViolinoTM DPSS family, is based on the mechanic optical architecture of Third Harmonic Generation (THG) INTRACAVITY technology.
The INTRACAVITY technology allows a very extensive life of the LBO non-linear crystal. Together with high beam quality and its axial simmetry are ideal to be used for applications which need a short wavelength (355nm).
The U.V. 355nm wavelength causes much less mechanical distortion and much less heat affected zone (HAZ) in comparison with the I.R. laser radiation.
Its high average power and repetition rate allow to cut complex shapes in silicon wafer and in fast scribing of glass.
As per the ViolinoTM laser family this U.V. laser is air cooled and can be easily integrated in production line.
High performances of this Laser source allow its use in demanding material process applications.

Leopard :
The new Leopard series picosecond lasers from Continuum® represents the highest level of technology available in a commercial system. The passive negative feedback employed in the oscillator allows for controlled energy extraction rates from the gain media resulting in exceptionally long and stable pulse trains.
The Leopard D provides the shortest pulses available without the high cost and complexity of a regenerative amplifier. The use of a solid state saturable absorber in the LeopardTM SS eliminates the difficulty of working with dyes, resulting in the
most turnkey and modestly priced picosecond laser available.

StarShape
The new StarShape series from Rofin/Baasel Lasertech provides a large number of different lasers for micro-material processing. All StarShape series applications have one thing in common: the precise, local, selective ablation of areas of the surface of a component or tool by vaporization or vaporization-induced displacement of the molten mass.
The lasers in the series can be used to structure surfaces, drill through-going or blind holes, or remove selected layers of substrates precisely to the micrometer. The materials that can be processed range from metals through ceramics and diamonds to plastics.
To cover most of ablating micro-material processing, the StarShape series includes both Nd:YAG lasers in cw or Q-switched versions, and CO2 lasers. The available wavelengths thus range from green to within the infra-red end of the spectrum. Interaction times from the few nanoseconds of end-pumped solid state lasers up to the continuous-wave range, offer suitable laser solutions for all of the above-mentioned applications.
