Automated Solid Phase Extraction SPE
Performing Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) manually can be time consuming and nerve-racking, especially when recovery and reproducibility are lacking due to sample variability. If Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) can be reliably automated, it becomes a much more efficient and reproducible process.
The GERSTEL Multi Purpose Sampler (MPS) with Automated SPE Option for standard cartridges provides several benefits compared with manual Solid Phase Extraction:
- Improved recovery, precision and reproducibility
- Maximized sample throughput by performing SPE during GC or LC analysis of the preceding sample
- More than 50 percent time saving for overall analysis, compared to manual processing
Following the SPE clean-up steps, the MPS can introduce the sample extract directly to an LC/MS or GC/MS system for analysis. As an alternative, the MPS WorkStation is used as a stand-alone sample preparation robot, preparing samples for multiple LC/MS or GC/MS systems in your laboratory.
The GERSTEL SPE enables automated sample preparation and analysis even for complex samples. Samples are prepared in a simple and safe manner combining accurate results with high throughput.

Colloid mill works with shearing, grinding high-speed stirring.Grinding process occurs in the relative movement between the two teeth with one revolving in high speed and another still, which makes the material between the teeth receive strong shearing and abrasion in addition to high frequency vibration and high speed swirl. The above forces effectively evenly disperse, emulsify, smash the material.
JM-F/L is a new equipment that wet processes superfine grain.whichisusedto homogen。emulsify。mixand smash various semi-liquids.1iquids and latex emulsion.

New cross section polisher from JEOL allows observation of multi-layer structures, interfaces, composites of soft and hard materials, polymers, powder grains, and crystalline structures of metals and ceramics with few artifacts. In a single step, clean, polished samples are produced and for analysis. The CP uses an argon ion beam to prepare up to 11mm(W) x 10mm(D) x 2mm(H) samples of soft or hard materials while preserving internal structures, voids between interfaces, adhesions between layers, and precipitates. Unlike conventional mechanical polishers, the CP minimizes deformation of the polished surface, enabling clear observation of crystalline structures.
The high power optical microscope in the JEOL CP allows the user to position a sample to within a few microns of the cross section position. During milling, the sample is rocked automatically to avoid creating beam striations on the cross sectioned surface. Due to the glancing incidence of the ion beam, argon is not implanted into the sample surface.

The pneumatic press EP15 was built for semplifying and automating the hot mounting process. The operator has only to select, from the digital display, the appropriate mounting cycle for the resin type which is going to be used. Preset mounting cycle parameters (temperature and timing of heating and cooling), optimised for each type of resin, are stored in the control panel, and can then be selected for starting the embedding cycle. At the end of each cycle, the cooled sample can be pulled out from the heating chamber and passed onto the grinding/polishing process.

The laboratory hotplates and stirrers from SI Analytics demonstrate the kind of creative design that results when practical laboratory experience is paired with the most advanced materials know-how.
Our variety of 4 laboratory hotplates enables speedy heating up (SLK 1, SLK 2), with a temperature control if required (SLK 2-T, SLK 6).
The laboratory stirrer (SLR) is the optimum solution for a careful to intense mixing of liquids. It can also be used for speedy heating up or controlled temperature adaptation.
Both product families have the benefits of the glass ceramic heating surface which as proven in millions of households. Chemical resistance, a high sur face quality, and a resistance to temperature shocks of more than 700 °C provide the user with maximum benefits compared to conventional heating surface materials. The poreless smooth surface enables even most stubborn dirt to be easily removed. The high infrared permeability ensures that the heating energy is transferred quickly and with a low loss rate, i.e. it heats liquids faster than other heating surface materials, and thus saves energy.

Compact and amazingly versatile, benchtop MixMate can be used for virtually any mixing application. It accommodates micro test tubes, PCR plates, deepwell plates and MTPs. It features an integrated vortexing function and an operating concept that is as simple as it is intelligent.
2DMix-Control: uniquely fast and controlled mixing movement
Current findings show that rpm speed is not the only determining factor in efficiently mixing small volumes. More often, the perfect mixing process occurs when parameters such as speed, type of mixing movement (e.g., orbital) and the mixing radius are optimized to smoothly run together. Eppendorf has perfected how these parameters interact in MixMate, and we have named this feature 2DMix-Control.
