| These burners provide close coupling of radiant heat sources for use in "line" arrangements where relatively "light" heating jobs are to be performed. Designed essentially for heating moving webs, line burners also find frequent application in ovens, as well as in heating stationary objects. The 500 Series is available in a variety of cup configurations to permit several self-piloting geometric arrangements. The small 200 Series and large 700 Series, however, are currently available for straightline use only. |

The Eclipse Minnox burner utilizes a premixed gas/air mixture with excess air; the resulting low flame temperature of 1200°C (2200°F) produces extremely low NOx discharge from the burner head. A modular designed gas/air mixer is adapted to the burner manifold in various configurations.
The flame is protected by a stainless steel shroud which insures good combustion without being influenced by process air. Burner capacities are available from 125 to 4000 kW (430,000 to 13.6 million Btu/hr.); higher capacities can be designed for special applications.

Selas nozzle mix burners offer many advantages over typical flame-type burners. They are designed to thoroughly mix combustion air and fuel gas at the nozzle so that it can burn quickly and completely. Combustion occurs within the nozzle, so the heat exiting from the nozzle cup is uniform, stable and highly controlled. This rapid combustion creates a quick release heat, radiated from fully reacted gases that are closer to a theoretical flame temperature, but with no danger of flame impingement on the workpiece.
Selas nozzle mix burners are ideal for smaller furnaces. Since there is no chance of flame impingement, the distance from the burner to the workpiece is shorter. You'll also save money on fuel costs with Selas nozzle mix burners because they require less air to fuel combustion. |
|
| MAXON APX® Natural Gas Burners are packaged nozzle mixing line burners designed for fresh or low temperature re-circulated air heating applications. The APX® Industrial Burner is a value engineered design utilizing a single aluminum extrusion for both its air and fuel manifolds. Selas Low NOx burners satisfy the worldwide regulation for low NOx emission with nitrogen oxide emission of less than 50 ppmv ( 1000 mg/Nm3). The fuel air mixture flows from the tip of the burner parallel to the hot face of the furnace wall. The mixture ignites and completes its combustion as it spreads over the wall, bringing it to a uniform temperature. No flames impinge on the process tubes. This lowers maintenance costs since the uniform tube temperature increases process tube life and decreases coking. Burner blocks are not needed to use with these burners and they are easy to light, retrofit and maintain. Silencers and other accessories are available for Selas Low NOx burners.
FEATURES & BENEFITS:
Capacity: 1,500,000 BTU/hour
Pressure: 20 psig
Draft: 0.2” WC
Oxygen: 2%
CO: 5 ppm
NOx: As low as 12 ppm |
