The BULK-X-CHANGE® is equipped with a special tube-sheet which ensures that the product is fed in with no residues. Due to its compact design the bulk materials heat exchanger can be integrated into the plant without requiring too much space. It can be used both to cool down and to heat up free-flowing to slightly cohesive bulk materials. |

Bowman Exhaust Gas Heat Exchangers are designed to remove heat from the exhaust gas of engines and transfer it to the water circuit.

LAUDA immersion coolers are used as add-on coolers to cool heating thermostats or any type of bath below ambient temperature.
LAUDA immersion coolers provide a quick way to extend the temperature range downwards when used with heating thermostats, water baths and cooling traps. The thermostats work on the classical principle of direct evaporation, and the flexible hose connection means that they can be used without any problems – with absolute long-term safety of operation. And they are optimal when it comes to capacity, size of the housing and price, the ETK 50 even has temperature control.

Bowman Marine Heat Exchangers There are three methods employed for water-cooled marine petrol and diesel engines: direct, heat exchanger and keel cooling. Direct cooling of the cylinders and heads by sea-water is unsatisfactory, because the engine - which was probably originally designed for radiator cooling - will run too cold and the sea-water will eventually ruin the cylinder block and heads.

Bowman Marine Oil Coolers
Bowman produce a variety of heat exchangers, water cooled manifolds, charge air coolers and oil coolers for use on marine engines.
Most Bowman marine products are fitted with bronze covers which are highly corrosion resistant and therefore suitable for use with sea water. Some of the smaller units are fitted with neoprene end covers which can fit directly into the sea water pipe work.
Bowman manufactures a range of standard heat exchangers which can be used to marinise a variety of engines up to 1400 kW (1900HP). There are also a large number of engine specific heat exchangers and exhaust manifolds produced for a variety of Cummins, Ford, Perkins, British Leyland Rover, General Motors, Peugeot, Mercedes, VW, Mitsubishi, New Holland and Genesis engines.
Bowman also manufactures engine oil coolers suitable for all types of engines up to 1200kW (1600HP) and gearbox oil coolers suitable for all types of engines up to 1500 (2000HP). The plate heat exchangers type PWT form an addition to our product range in the field of oil-water heat exchangers. In some cases they represent a cost-effective and space-saving alternative to the standard smooth pipe heat exchangers.
Description
Soldered plate heat exchangers are assembled from stamped special steel plates and connected by means of a copper shim and a special soldering process. Stamping creates a highly turbulent flow in the chambers between the plates, which enables excellent transfer of the heat. The type PWT plates stand out by their following characteristics:

In developing the new NT series, GEA Ecoflex successfully managed to combine its own many years of experience with market requirements. Now a new plate generation is available which sets new standards in terms of economic efficiency due to low investment, operating and maintenance costs. The optimised plate design requires less heat transfer surface for achieving same capacity and thus reduces investment cost considerably. New installation and gasket technologies make maintenance easier and ensure a perfect fit of the gasket and plate pack. Inline Plate Heat Exchangers
Bowman In Line Plate Heat Exchangers have been designed as a low-cost alternative to our shell and tube types. They consist of numerous 316 stainless steel heat transfer plates, two outer covers and four connections copper vacuum-brazed together to form an integral unit.
Unlike other plate heat exchangers, they have a unique internal flow arrangement, which enables the inlet and outlet connections to be axially in line. This means that they can be installed directly in pipework without any change of direction. Each fluid stream flows in series through alternate plates. As a consequence, the plate spacing is larger and internal velocities are higher than is normally the case with this type of heat exchanger, thus rendering them less prone to fouling.
