Heat treat ovens are very common in the heat treat industry and are commonly referred to as Companion Draw Furnaces or Draw Batch Furnace. Wisconsin Oven's SDB Series is used most often for tempering, solution treating, aging, annealing, normalizing, and stress relieving applications.
We have 40 standard SDB heat treat oven models. There are ten (10) standard sizes, available in four (4) temperature ranges. Standard maximum continuous temperature ratings are 800°F (425°C), 1000°F (540°C), 1250°F (675°C), and 1400°F (760°C).
Each model can be heated by either a direct gas fired burner (Natural or Propane), or with electric heating elements. We can also provide indirect gas fired units if required. |

Ensure reliable, repeatable sintering and infiltration results of your metal parts and tooling inserts made from LaserForm material with the specially designed LaserForm oven - from 3D Systems
Sinter and infiltrate parts and inserts made from LaserForm material
Metal parts and tooling inserts produced on an SLS® system like the Vanguard system (pictured) must be sintered and infiltrated using the LaserForm oven from 3D Systems.
The LaserForm oven is the only oven made specifically for sintering and infiltrating parts, prototypes, or tools made with LaserForm material. Its unique combination of features and automation deliver the reliable, repeatable results you need to improve designs, meet deadlines, and shorten production cycles.
Count on simple, automated, operation. The LaserForm oven is pre-programmed: just push a button and it automatically adjusts the temperature for each step of the process. Sensors automatically make additional adjustments in each of the three temperature zones, if needed. Nitrogen flow stops when the oven reaches a preset temperature, and the oven powers itself down at the end of the process. A built-in motorized crane makes loading and unloading parts a one-person job.

Heat Treatment
The use of induction heating for material treating is a consolidate procedure, both for the superficial hardening of metal parts or pipes, as well as for superficial treatments according to specific characteristics such as brassing, nitriding etc.
The possibility of obtaining high values of power density in the heating area makes induction heating fit even for continuous treating of wires or bars, as well as for pipes of large dimensions with great thicknesses.
Continuous induction hardening systems are often coupled with induction furnaces for material tempering on compact and extremely flexible lines.
Induction Hardening
Induction heating can also be applied for the thermal stabilization of the metallurgical structure of metals with different profiles, as well as for semi-finished products.
Continuous induction annealing is particularly appropriate for thermal condition stability of the material during the process, and for its repetitiveness over time using apposite thermo-regulation software.
Reduced dimensions of the plant layout with respect to conventional heating systems, high efficiency, accurate control of process parameters, and low system and operation costs, allow induction heating to be used even for the normalization of shaped mechanical parts when eliminating internal tensional states due to machining
Vacuum, Controlled Atmosphere
Heating systems with non-combustion heat sources are used when there is the necessity to remove any surface oxidation or whether heating cycle performances in controlled atmosphere are needed. |
