Heatflon® Serie PH 1 - 9
Heatflon® heaters of the PH series consist of a stainless steel tubular radiator sheated in PFA. The head of the heater is made of PTFE and the connecting cable of PFA. Heating zone, head and connecting cable are welded together watertightly as a result a complete immersion in aggresive media is possible.
All devices of the PH series are earthed and approved by association of German engieers (VDE).
As an optional extra, all heaters can also be pre-equipped for a thermal monitoring. Users who purchase a special controller are then able to monitor the internal temperature between the stainless steel heater and the PFA tube, thereby reducing substantially the risk of fire. Heatflon® tubular radiators of the PH series are available for various surface loads, eg:
2,2 W/cm² - 1,5 W/cm² - 1,0 W/cm², applicable dependent on the specific media.

HEATED HOSES - for gas and liquid transfer.
During Gas Analyzer Sampling, Hot Melt Transfer, Petroleum or Chemical Transfers, or Food Processing, it is needed to maintain critical temperatures, to avoid condensation of gas or drop in fluid temperature. Thermo Heated Hoses aptly cater to this need, by ensuring that the fluid in the process tube (part of the heated hose), looses no heat.
These flexible and lightweight tubes can withstand aggressive high pressure fluids and high temperatures involved in transfer of fluids.
Construction
Heated Hose comprises of a process tube bundled with insulated electrical heating element and wrapped with a heat reflecting foil. Temperature sensor is provided at about 300 mm from power connection end. This bundle is insulated and provided with an outer jacket. Ends are sealed suitably and electrical connections for both power and control are brought out. |

U.L. Recognized - E56973 C.S.A. Certified - 016386-0-000
Features :
-Elements are designed for maximum: Watt density, temperature, heat transfer, and heater life.
-The useful life of a cartridge heating element is determined by how quickly the heat generated in the resistance
wire can be dissipated to the outside sheath. With low and moderate watt density elements, such as Hotwatt's
standard line, the conventional method of inserting helical coils in formed ceramics is an entirely satisfactory
method of construction because the wire temperature relative to sheath temperature even though considerably
higher, is still well within safe long-life operating temperatures.
-The Superwatt cartridge heater accelerates the transfer of heat from the resistance wire to the sheath. This is
accomplished by relocating the wire so that it is closer to the sheath; and swaging the outside diameter of the
heater, thereby compressing the magnesium oxide filler so that it becomes an improved conductor of heat from
the wire while maintaining its dielectric properties. (See diagram below). By improving the heat transfer rate, it
is possible to manufacture elements of higher densities because the differential between the wire temperature
and the sheath temperature has been minimized.
-Long, trouble free service.

Infra-red radiation partly reflects with a fall on material and partly absorbs. Tre absorbed radiation is changed in heat that penetrates through body. It is a similarity to the sun radiation when with low temperatures comes to a feeling of a heat amenity.
Exactly this piece of knowledge is used with the design of heating with infra radiators HELIOS. In contrast to the air-heating when the hottest air is collected at the ceiling, in our case the effect is exactly contradictory. A stable natural heat climate is created without noise, air draught and dust whirling in an ecologically friendly way. We lower the temperature in the hall about 3-5°C on purpose and the required heat amenity is reached by the radiant heat of the infra radiator.
It is a kind of a „completion“ on a required temperature. The lowering of the calculation air temperature of 1°C brings cca. 7% energy saving. In the present case 20 – 30%. |

Space-Ray offers tube heaters in natural or propane gas which range in capacity from 20,000 to 250,000 Btu/hr, giving us one of the most complete lines in the industry.
All Space-Ray tube heaters are designed for maximum radiant output and are CSA design certified. The products of combustion are pulled through the totally enclosed combustion chamber for increased radiant efficiency, more uniform tube temperature, and greater safety.
The 16 gauge aluminized steel emitter tube is calorized to produce a tube that is highly radiant absorptive on the interior and highly radiant emissive on the exterior, will not flake or peel, and is corrosion resistant. The unitized design allows lower installation costs, simpler re-arrangement within the facility, and less maintenance.
The heaters may be direct vented (individually or common vented) or indirect vented (unvented |

PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) inks.
The resistors, which are silk printed with these inks, are not constant, but display a substantial increase whenever the temperature rises.
This behaviour leads to a reduction of the heat produced, when a higher temperature is reached.
This feature is very important especially as far as safety of use is concerned, because resistors of this type are self-limiting. |

Thermofoil heaters are thin, flexible heating elements consisting of an etched foil resistive element laminated between layers of flexible insulation. Since their introduction by Minco over 45 years ago, Flexible Thermofoil heaters have demonstrated significant advantages over conventional electric heaters.
Precise Heating :
Thermofoil heaters put heat where you need it. You simply apply them to the surface of the part to be heated. Their thin and Flexible profile gives close thermal coupling between the heater and heat sink. You can even specify profiled heat patterns with higher watt densities in areas where heat loss is greater.
